The Timmy Tornan Show 08.06.2026 3:06
Spoof of the Irish TV chat show ...featuring the Irish low budget answer to Elon Musk (prob only works if ya know 'The Tommy Tiernan Show')
Flight Into Culfadda - Chapter 3 30.05.2026 6:37
The plot thickens, or something -had only an hour to get this one done so it's short and erm., well, it furthers the plot. Chat to ye, Brian
Flight Into Culfadda - Chapter 2 17.05.2026 13:04
Part two of the story. Tis hard to know if anyone is following but if you are, and are human, then the tale will run the course. I don't really have a plan for how long it will go. It was meant to be a script for a live show with some local comics, but reality means that will never happen so I might as well go mad with it given there are no filming restrictions etc. Gonna try get more regular...
John the Witless 11.05.2026 4:24
More messing to camera -a riffed tale about one of the characters in 'Flight into Culfadda' ...part 2 of which is out in three days from, well, the time of typing ...which is Monday the 11th of May 2026 on a calm dry slightly cloudy west Irish summer evening.
Two minutes of Sci-Fi style mesing to camera 08.05.2026 2:31
🐨🔥😮😢🔥🎷EMPEROR Nalbert Hokenlaunt ...AGAIN!!! This far NORTH!!! ONSCRONTABLE!!! Some daft filler in place of Ep.2 of 'Flight into Culfadda' -had to push it back a few days. (sort of proud of the way these fall flat on the socials, it's probably the best mark of quality ya can get in this day and age)
The Origin of Gemini Man 02.05.2026 4:02
A quick tale in the car on the way home -no time to do a full story this week so this'll have to do instead
It is Okay to be Wrong 25.04.2026 3:09
I write and publish a joke a day (following Spike Milligan's advice). I stick them up on the Irish Science Fiction social accounts -there is well over a thousand of them. Some are awful. Some derivative. Most are average. But every so often one does the job ...keeps universal, punches up, and slaps obvious absurdity in the mush. Today was the latter so I'm giving it a twist on the podcast....
Flight Into Culfadda, Chapter/ Episode 1 11.04.2026 15:02
Chapter 1 of a new long form story. A regional passenger airliner gets notions above the county of Sligo. Apologies, am rusty so the first ten mins is a bit crap but it picks up, and hopefully that's the groove for the next ten or so chapters. Thanks for listening, Brian
Human V Machine(AI) Storytelling 04.04.2026 4:33
More filler ...'Flight into Cúlfadda' should be about next week, like most/all writers this is a hobby and has to go to the bottom of the list of stuff to do -anyhows, this skit is aimed at the AI generated storytelling nonsense, because to my mind the idea of AI creativity is stone mad. It works fine for an algorithm where the name of the game is appealing to the maximum number of people....
The Ballad of Billy the Hatchet 21.03.2026 2:42
Two min rant to camera/ story.
Good night, Michael Knight 21.02.2026 0:54
The last of the summer wine for a former TV star apologies ...been delayed starting 'black socks'. Writing is about as usefull as a handbrake in a canoe so need to push the adventure back to when I can give it time. Thank you if you're checking this stream out. BTW -have a plan for filming 'Flight into Culfadda' this summer. A mix of 'Fr. Ted' and 'Black Mirror'...
The Dreaded Writer's Block 22.01.2026 3:18
A three minute story. If you are tuning in and got a kick from this there are daily jokes on the Irish Science Fiction YouTube that ya might get a giggle from. I try to keep them under a minute ...and there are currently 800+ uploaded (with over half sitting on zero views, which is either an achievement or a true reflection of their quality). 'The Adventures of Special Agent Black Socks' w...
An Emotional Machine 05.12.2025 27:30
A 30 min family friendly Irish Sci-Fi tale ...an electronic algorithm has been agitating humanity into opposing groupings. Written & narrated by Brian Sexton (who had a cold, but ya gotta record when ya can in this game)
The Clock at Dunsoggany Station (2 min tale) 06.11.2025 2:58
A not so funny tale about burnout. On the plus side it's quick. A modern day SF adventure will be out in a fortnight -a self contained tale about a Martian Cephalod, a Socially Engineered girl and a TV show host (prob be a run time of twenty to thirty mins). Thanks for tuning in, Brian
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean nobody is watching (90 sec gag) 01.11.2025 1:26
More joke filler ...alt comedy -so ya know, user experience may vary
Was Darwin Wrong? (90 second gag) 30.10.2025 1:50
Just a 90 sec gag in the car to the phone. I think there are three or four watching/ listening to these so ...hello, hope all's good with you -if you tuned in to Nancy G there'll be another long tale starting next month (Nov '25), with a few short bits of stories/ messing in between. Enjoy Oíche Shamhna, keep the fire lit
An evening at the Club 17.10.2025 7:47
A ten minute story -bookended with some chit chat
Riyadh Comedy Festival (exclusive report for Irish Comedy News) 10.10.2025 4:05
A report and interview of Irish Comedians attending the world's largest comedy festival (video.................................................................................................................................satire;)..
Reverse Apocalypse Joke 10.10.2025 2:13
Just a quick one of the daily Jokes from the social media output. These all bomb, but no reason to stop. Pushing back the launch of 'Special Agent Black Socks' till Jan '26 to try and promote the stuff a bit and see if I can knock a bit of craic outta live gigs ...some folk are up for a laugh but the prevailing wind at the moment is shitty roast stuff.
Midlife Crisis (Five Min Story) 22.09.2025 5:32
Recorded this on the phone (and the phone has seen better days) so the quality is not great, but might give ya a snigger.
Two of three short short stories 22.09.2025 4:17
Just two very quick stories -will upland a third one later but want to do it sitting down and to camera so as to keep it recorded (it died a total death at a standup gig over the weekend but no reason not to stick it online)
Nowhere in Particular 05.09.2025 2:13
A micro SF story to pass 1 minute of your time.
A quick joke 03.09.2025 1:26
A quick joke to camera, just to pass the time while waiting in a car -more storytelling soon.
The Birth of A.I. 01.09.2025 1:23
A micro Jonathan Swift style tale (if he was alive now, couldn't spell, was rubbish at punctuation, and was from Sligo)
Nancy Goodaim, Space Ranger - Chapter 56 11.08.2025 14:51
An Irish Science Fiction Outer Space Adventure (Written and Narrated by Brian Sexton)
