We have been thrilled to welcomed 25 students from our partner school Dreieichschule in Langen, Germany, to Oregon High School for three weeks. In this episode, we hear directly from the Exchange Coordinator and a few of the exchange students to hear about their time so far and what they hope to take away from this experience.

The fall athletic season is in full swing and we have student athletes participating in a wide variety of sports. Today we're visiting Ms. Ingham's kindergarten class at Prairie View Elementary to talk with some of our youngest students about their school year, what they learned, and get advice for next year's kindergarten students!

A beloved tradition for OSD seniors is to take a walk through their former elementary schools. Today we’re going along to Brooklyn Elementary to hear about this memorable experience from one of our seniors. We'll also talk with Principal Pliner about end of year festivities and hear his advice for seniors and families during these last days of the school year.

This past Sunday 20-30 goats were released in the forest area adjacent to Oregon Middle School as part of a forest restoration project! The goats are clearing invasive species and presenting an amazing learning opportunity for our students. Each year, 7th grade students at Oregon Middle School participate in hands-on team learning experiences that take them outside the classroom. One of those experiences is called the Urban Challenge. Today we’re going to learn all about this experience from one of the Challenge organizers, Kelly Manzeck, and some students who recently completed the challenge.

It takes a keen eye and a robust skill set to build a home. In today's episode, Dr. Bergstrom heads to the construction site to hear from OHS construction teacher, Chris Prahl, to learn about the educational process for his students. We also hear from some of the students on the experience and where they hope to go from here.

Inclement weather has the potential to impact all school districts in Wisconsin. The decision to call a snow day is very complex.
