Inside the OSD with Dr. Leslie Bergstrom

In this final episode of Season 4, we bid farewell to Dr. Leslie Bergstrom, as she enters retirement, and officially pass the mic to our new OSD Superintendent, Dr. Shannon Anderson.  Tune in as we celebrate Dr. Bergstrom's career and hear about Dr. Anderson's plans for the future.

Today we are taking some time to talk with our students who will be addressing their class during the graduation ceremony.  We are excited to hear about what has led them to this point and get a sneak peak into the words of wisdom they’re planning on sharing with the Class of 2026.

In this episode, we are speaking with community member, John Keuhl, creator and Commissioner of Oregon Bench Mob - a basketball league right here in Oregon that was created to offer more high school students an opportunity to play recreationally competitive basketball.

Each year, 7th grade students at Oregon Middle School from the 7-O team participate in the Urban Challenge, a hands-on “amazing race” style event in downtown Madison.  In this episode we'll learn all about this experience from event organizer, Laura Stoller, and some students who recently completed the challenge.
