Frank Santoro joined the †studs for a great chat about his comix. His latest book, Storeyville , is a reprint of a newspaper he put out in the mid 1995 presented in a beautiful hardcover edition. You can find all of Frank†s work published by those fine folks at Picturebox . His most notable series, Cold Heat is a fantastic journey through a drug fueled maze of 1990†s psuedo reality.

This has to be one of the funnest shows I have done in a while. Brian was an awesome guest. Brian Ralph has some great comix in his repertoire. His latest book is Daybreak from the always awesome Bodega books . You can check out updates of his strip .

John Bell joined us to discuss his book, Invaders from the North . It is a comprehensive history of Canada and comix, covering the range of crazy goldenage goodies, to modern alternative masters like Dave Cooper, Chester Brown and everything else in-between. It is a pretty important look at the history of Canadian comix, and I recommend checking it out.

One of my favourite new books this year, is Matt Kindt†s SuperSpy . Published by TopShelfComix , SuperSpy is an excellent journey into the complex world of espionage. Taking place during the Second World War, Matt has created a wealth of intriguing characters. I strongly recommend reading this book its AWESOME.
