Episodes

019 - The Ice Cream Truck 05.06.2024

In today's episode, Chris & Zach take a look at the modern day "pied piper"    The Ice Cream Man. From the weathered menu stickers to the Marlboro reds flapping from their upper lip, it is no wonder that they believe the Ice Cream Truck is a cover for criminals.

018 - The Floor is Lava 04.06.2024

In this episode of "Immorally Speaking", we get into the most famous of games powered by the imagination - The Floor is Lava. That said, we meander around the topic and discuss a number of things including farts.  Rate/Review/Subscribe. Email us at ImmorallySpeaking@gmail.com and PLEASE FOLLOW US ON IG: @ImmorallySpeaking

017 - Lucky Charms 04.06.2024

Of all the classic cereals out there, we decided to cover Lucky Charms first and, in doing so, we found ourselves wondering as to whether or not "Sir Charms" was in fact, the inspiration for the "Leprechaun" horror franchise of the 90's.

016 - Spin the Bottle 04.06.2024

During the pandemic known as COVID-19, is there a more controversial game out there than "Spin the Bottle"? Take a listen as we dive into the "glandularly" popular game and, FEAR NOT; there is no greater social distance than that between podcaster & listener.  FOLLOW US ON INSTAGRAM: @ImmorallySpeaking and, please, RATE/REVIEW/SUBSCRIBE!

015 - McGruff the Crime Dog 04.06.2024

Of all the toons that are supposed to make us feel safe and trustworthy, McGruff the Crime Dog is at the top of the list. That said, when you really take a bite out of him as a character, you can't help but think he's the most corrupt, dirt bag on the force.

014 - Lunchables 04.06.2024

Hey there, hi there! If you're a negligent parent, we're talking your favorite school time lunch option on this episode - it's Lunchables!!! (You should be ashamed of yourself)

013 - Green Eggs & Ham 04.06.2024

Green Eggs & Ham; lyrically, a masterpiece & visually stunning; but the author that wrote it seems to be no more than a dirty rotten scoundrel. You are not worthy of the praise and adoration showered upon you, Dr. Seuss; if that is your real name (it is not).

012 - Ronald McDonald 04.06.2024

Pennywise. The Joker. John Wayne Gacy. Beyond dispute, some of the most terrifying clowns in the history of the world. But, in our opinion, the most horrifying clown ever to have exist is the one who chooses to kill you slowly; through hypertension and obesity. On this episode of Immorally Speaking, we explore the painted on face behind the famed golden arches - Ronald McDonald.

011 - Rock Paper Scissors 04.06.2024

As children, its decision was final. As adults, it is pretty much the same case. But more so than arguments being settled and decisions being made, Rock Paper Scissors showed you the true character of the people you called your friends and. Know this - the strength of the friendship of Zach & Chris will be tested on this episode of Immorally Speaking. RATE / REVIEW / SUBSCRIBE - it really help...

010- The Tooth Fairy 04.06.2024

The Tooth Fairy is among the tip top of the preposterous myths perpetuated by parents to their children. Why? So many why's . . . Why does she want the teeth? What does she do with them? And, why, as parents, do we put ourselves at such great risk at being caught by our children and outed as liars? None of it makes sense but we still try to understand it on this episode of Immorally Speaking. RATE...

009 - The Lion King 04.06.2024

In the spirit of Fathers Day, we decided to take a look at a story with a strong patriarch - The Lion King.  We share some stories about our Dad's, about us as Dad's and we uncover that there was, likely, some heavy incest going on in this Disney classic. Please - rate/review/subscribe and feel free to email us at ImmorallySpeaking@gmail.com

008 - Hide & Seek 04.06.2024

A game the family can enjoy together. One where children enjoy the thrill of the hunt and their parents relish an opportunity to drink in peace while they recollect what it was like before they had kids; it's HIDE & SEEK, this week, on Immorally Speaking.

007 - Thriller 04.06.2024

Michael Jackson's Thriller is, arguably, the greatest music video of all time. As a matter of fact, it's the number one defense called upon the "King of Pop"'s character is brought into question: "How could someone who gave us Thriller have done those terrible things?" Well, as we dive deep into the classic song, we learn that Thriller isn't a defense for him rather damning evidence against him.&n...

006 - Rock a Bye, Baby 04.06.2024

As parents, we only want what is best for our kids. With that in mind, we ask why do we sing the horrific threat that is "Rock a Bye, Baby" to those we are tasked with protecting at all costs? A lullaby that, at its core, screams of child negligence and murder. Mother Goose is one twisted bird.

005 - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 04.06.2024

This episode epitomizes what we're trying to do here. There is no way that the younger versions of ourselves would have seen the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in this light. As we look at them as adults, it gets . . . pornographic.

004 - The Goonies 20.02.2024

The reason we loved The Goonies as children is the same reason that as adults - - - because it took the kid gloves off and spoke to us as grown ups.. It was because we wanted to be a part of the close knit group that we overlooked the red flags to blatant child abuse, bullying, drug trafficking, sexual assault, and murder. It may have been a 1985 PG rating but, by today's standards, it's a hard R.

003 - Humpty Dumpty 20.02.2024

For centuries, we've known Humpty Dumpty to be nothing more than a klutz lost in a tragic accident. However, when you connect the dots, it doesn't smell of accident but stinks of foul play. Conspiracy is at foot and centers around a kings plot to murder a civil rights activist who, also, happens to be the heir to the throne.

002 - Super Mario Bros 20.02.2024

The Super Mario Bros. made plumbing look sexy. Their relationship was not only one of the first, but also a literal "bromance". But what's really going on here? Toxic Masculinity? Friend Zoning? Drugs? We try to make sense of it all on this episode of Immorally Speaking.  - - - This episode was mixed by Nate Armbruster - - - give his podcast, One Crazy Story, a listen.

001 - The Giving Tree 30.01.2024

The Giving Tree is a classic children's book that shows the selflessness of one tree and, in doing so, ignores the greed of one little boy. His selfishness goes overlooked no longer in our first episode of Immorally Speaking.
