Genesis 11:1-9. The Church isn't only called to gather, but to scatter across the world. We see this pattern throughout the Bible and discover how the cross of Christ is a source of freedom, power, and hope in this scattering of the people of God. The Gospel doesn't only save us, it sends us. 

We live in a world that is divided by grace and truth but as followers of Jesus we are called to walk in the fullness of both grace and truth.

When we experience God’s love and acceptance, we can offer it to others becoming a community built on the foundation of the gospel.

Through the cross of Christ God not only reconciled us to himself but also torn down the dividing wall of hostility enabling us to be reconciled with one another.

God's restorative justice brings healing to a world broken by sin.

Sometimes, God leads us to places where we feel trapped and unable to make it out on our own, and that's exactly where God wants us to be. It is in moments when we are stuck and have no other way out that we can most clearly see God's salvation.

God calls us to practice justice, seeking the good of those who are most oppressed and disenfranchised in society.

If we want to finish well, we must humbly depend on God's empowerment to the very end of our lives.

Our response to this pandemic should not be to lean deeper into our fears, but to boldly invest in God's kingdom.

We have a natural tendency to move away from intimacy, especially towards God Himself. Yet despite our rebellion against His Lordship, busyness, and worry, He faithfully pursues us and invites us into His presence time and time again. 

The call to follow Jesus is a call to give up our rights and love our neighbor as ourselves. This pandemic is a great opportunity for us to demonstrate this love.

In silence we hear the noisiness of our soul, which helps us understand and acknowledge the depth of our sin struggle.  

This coronavirus crisis is a rare opportunity for us enter into silence and solitude, reflecting on the changes we need to make in our "normal lives" if we want to experience the deeper life in Christ.

We lose faith in God when life does not unfold in line with our plans. But nothing can stop God’s greater purpose for this world, and we have a choice to either rise up and partner with God in the work He is doing or just sit idly by and live for ourselves.

In a season where we are seeking shelter, God has provided our ultimate shelter in His Son Jesus. Let us find our shelter in Him.

God's hand is upon us in every season of our lives and so He calls us to trust in His steadfast love and mercy towards us.

It is in our seasons of greatest trouble, God will often bring us to stillness so that we might know that He is God, that we are under His protection and that He is to be exalted.  

We live in a world that is crippled by fear of so many things, but God wants us to know to be set free from all fear we must have one most important fear. 

God calls us to be fellow workers with Him not only at our church but in our vocations. The following message as given by Ha Min Cho.

In order to overthrow our idols, our hearts must be retrained to love God and the things that he loves.

Whether an idol or Jesus, we will resemble whatever we fix our gaze on.

Our hearts are drawn to idols that promise us everything but take everything from us. Only God is worthy of our total trust and devotion.
