Nathan & Ollie
I'll See You In HELL!! A Podcast about movies that kick ass and take names!!!
Two mediocre white guys, recall and review classic movies of the past and present. Try to imagine a conversation you might have with a 90s era video store clerk about what you should watch tonight. We WILL tackle films that won't often be discussed as Oscar worthy but are always considered entertaining. We will argue, agree and attempt to mimic accents of the most classic one liners and movie tropes. Come prepared to laugh and it is ALWAYS a good idea to listen after you have seen the film and not before.

Scream (1996) - “What's your favorite scary movie?” (Episode 69) 05.12.2022 1:06:02
Horror is not a genre that Ollie even enjoys but it turns out that Nathan actually studied it in college. In 1996 Wes Craven relaunched the category with this near flawless slasher film. When we both saw this movie, neither of us predicted the clever ending and the only negative we found was that this movie spawned TOO many sequels.
Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) - “Marion, don't look at it. Shut your eyes, Marion. Don't look at it, no matter what happens!” (Episode 68) 22.11.2022 56:17
It is impossible to think this movie was made in 1981. Nathan and Ollie dig into the best parts of this Spielberg epic and talk about what makes this character and story so good. This movie could be released today and be just as successful. They didn't have CGI so they had to try to make great characters and story without all of the toys.
Cliffhanger (1993) - “Suits, socks, 100 million dollars - the usual stuff" ” (Episode 67) 03.10.2022 52:57
Nathan and Ollie go deep into the insanely silly plot of this 1993 Sly Stallone romp. We wonder how it is possible that climbing equipment that can hold over 1,000 Lbs failed while holding up a woman that might have weighed 120 Lbs?
Willow (1988) - “Out of my Way, Peck!!” (Episode 66) 03.10.2022 1:12:37
The fella's welcome back our good friend, Tony, to discuss this Val Kilmer / Ron Howard / Warwick Davis classic. Tony does tons of great research on the history of this movie and he brings all the best stuff to the conversation.
Prey (2022) - “If it bleeds, we can kill it” (Episode 65) 26.08.2022 1:05:19
The very first film we ever covered was the 1987 classic, Predator. Nathan and Ollie were thrilled to be able to revisit this character with the INCREDIBLE new Hulu film, Prey. We wonder why they didn't release it in theaters as the action and scenery is that good.
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood (2019) - “You are Rick F#cking Dalton!!” (Episode 64) 26.08.2022 1:22:10
Not much needs to be said... this movie is incredible. We welcome Jason back to discuss it and were surprised to learn that he would have enjoyed it more if he actually knew it was about the Manson murders.
The Boondock Saints (1999) - “Well, we'll have to check with your mom.” (Episode 63) 26.08.2022 1:07:18
After a bit of a break, the boys are back to discuss one of Nathan's favorite films. This 1999 gangster / vigilante film did terrible at the box office but quickly gained success through word of mouth. Ollie hated this movie but Nathan and his brother enjoyed going into great detail about what they enjoyed most about this film.
Nobody (2021) “I'm a good man, a family man, most of all I am a man that didn't deserve your gun in his face” (Episode 62) 10.07.2022 1:05:08
Shortly after we met to discuss John Wick, We got together to discuss this other interesting attempt to capitalize on the success of the Wick series. This movie is fun, not long and enjoyable if you have not seen it.
John Wick - "How Good To See You Again So Soon, Mr. Wick.” (Episode 61) 10.07.2022 1:01:09
Nathan, Ollie and Jason get together to dig into one of the great modern classic action movies, John Wick. We talk in detail about the world that was created for this amazing story and how it is a rare fact that the sequels are actually pretty damn good.
Olympus Has Fallen (2013) “Who said anything about negotiating?” (Episode 60) 09.06.2022 1:03:03
Long overdue posting of this 2013 action adventure. As usual, I loved it and Nathan hated it. At least he is consistent.
Top Gun (1986) - “I feel the need, the need for speed!” (Episode 59) 09.06.2022 1:07:27
Long overdue conversation about this beach volleyball movie. Nathan and Ollie welcome Lau back to discuss this classic.
Fifth Element (1997) - "MulteeePasss!!!!" - (Episode 58) 11.05.2022 55:09
Of course Nathan doesn't appreciate this amazing film... What is wrong with him? This movie could come out today and probably win at the box office in every theater in America.
Flash Gordon (1980) - "Flash! I love you, but we only have 14 hours to save the Earth!" - (Episode 58) 11.05.2022 1:08:26
Nathan, Jason and Ollie go deep into the catalog to talk about this insanely hilarious 80s classic. Flash!!! aaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!! Is there another movie that has as much campiness as this??
Sicario (2015) - "Welcome to Juarez" (Episode 57) 13.04.2022 1:02:25
We got off of our typical era with this one. Ollie convinced Nathan to give this movie a shot and he actually didn't hate it. It was a great movie and gave the boys an opportunity to talk about one of the most exciting directors currently working, Denis Villeneuve.
Stripes (1981) - "You can't go, all the plants are going to die!" (Episode 56) 13.04.2022 1:08:45
Nathan and Ollie dig into one of the BEST Bill Murray films of all time. Ollie seems to believe that this is also one of John Candy's best roles. Give a listen to see if you agree.
Armageddon (1998) - “Harry, the clock on that nine-footnuclear weapon is ticking.” (Episode 55) 22.03.2022 59:13
Our sincere apologies for long delay in latest episode. Lots of good reasons for it. This episode covers probably the most INSANE Michael Bay movie of all time and the fellas enjoy diving deep into this carefully crafted "plot"
Hunt for Red October (1990) - "Russians don't take a dump, son, without a plan." (Episode 54) 15.02.2022 1:08:00
Nathan accepts the challenge of watching this Tom Clancy story from the early 90s. To Ollie's great surprise, he doesn't hate the movie for not having any wizards, potions, trolls or hobbits.
Office Space (1999) - "Why Does It Say Paper Jam When There Is No Paper Jam!" (Episode 53) 09.02.2022 1:03:58
This movie set the standard for humor and comedy that occurs in modern office environments. It is easily one of the most quoted movies of all time and we all know the frustration and emotion of "PC Load Letter".
The Matrix (1999) - "Ever have that feeling where you’re not sure if you’re awake or dreaming?" (Episode 52) 03.02.2022 1:14:52
After a longer than expected break, the boys are back talking about the 1999 film, The Matrix. This was the movie that everyone owned on DVD and EVERYONE used to show off their new sound system. We welcome back Nathan's brother to discuss what pill we would pick.
A Christmas Story (1983) - “Fraa-jeel-aay! It must be Italian!” - (Episode 51) 21.12.2021 1:04:37
Any movie that can be played on repeat every Christmas and STILL be entertaining is worth a watch. Nathan grumbles but I know he likes movie better than he lets on. I also believe he probably had one of those bunny suits when he was a kid.
Raising Arizona (1987) - “I'll be taking these Huggies and whatever cash ya got.” - (Episode 50) 21.12.2021 1:21:14
We rarely dive into Coen brothers films and many might have suspected we would start with Big Lebowski. However, we decided to reach way back to discuss this FANTASTIC comedy that was only made successful with the casting of Mr. Nicholas Cage. Is this his best ever?? Likely.
Inglorious Basterds (2009) - "Say 'auf Wiedersehen' to your Nazi balls!" (Episode 49) 21.12.2021 59:39
We jump back in to talk about one of the best Tarantino films and talk at length of our admiration for Mr. Waltz who is absolutely flawless in this film. The opening sequence of this film is easily one of the most impressive character building scenes in recent memory.
Navy Seals (1990) - “If I were going to be careful, I'd have joined the Coast Guard.” (Episode 48) 02.12.2021 50:52
Some incredible high quality action movies came out in 1990, this was NOT one of them. Despite its flaws, it is delightful enough to discuss for about an hour.
Dazed and Confused (1993) - "Alright, alright, alright" (Episode 47) 20.11.2021 1:13:17
Even though this film is a period piece set in an era that neither Nathan and myself existed, it captures the essential joy of being in High school that relates to our own experience in the early 90s. It artfully captures what was important at that time, like being obsessed with finding beer, discovering purpose, surviving hazing, learning what Martha Washington did for her husband George.
Jurasic Park (1993) - "Now that is a big pile of Sh*t" (Episode 46) 16.11.2021 1:07:39
This is arguably one of the best summer blockbuster movies of all time. Nathan and Ollie get into a healthy debate if this is perhaps a "perfect" film. As usual, Ollie wins the argument.
