Your testimony is not just personal; it’s powerful. It’s one of the greatest weapons God has given you against the enemy. Jeremiah 29 was written to exiles, people far from home, living in Babylon. When God placed His people in exile, He told them to seek the peace and prosperity of the city where He sent them. Throughout each generation, a danger for the church is to cease being a movement of people on mission and become an organization solely focused on providing programming to religious people. When we truly know God — the source of all love — fear loses its grip on our hearts. God’s love secures us, assures us, and calls us to extend that same love to others. True faith begins with the wonder of God’s love, that we are called His children, and that identity leads to faithful obedience. God’s children live with a hope that changes us now and secures us forever. Join Pr. Keith as he speaks on hope and the changes we experience when abiding in Christ.

Love isn’t just a new command, it’s the heartbeat of God’s people. In fact, John is going to show us that love isn’t optional or theoretical; it’s how God’s truth shows up in our lives and how we assure our hearts before Him. The question isn’t if we should love, but how — with action, generosity, and truth.

This profound truth is what allows us to not wallow in our failure, but to get up and keep moving forward in obedience.  Not because we have to earn back His favor, but because we already have it through Jesus Christ.  We obey because we love Him.  And this obedience produces a fruit-bearing assurance.  We’re not just safe; we’re changed and even our lives bear evidence of this transformation. 

1st John 1 points out that the blood of Jesus has a past, present, and future power. We can know for a fact that our past is past, thanks to the blood of Jesus. We are forgiven! “What if I sin?” Confess it. As we confess, we are cleansed. Join Pastor Keith as he further explores this passage.

We’re going to see that there is a difference between walking in darkness, living in habitual, rebellious sin, and sinful acts.  We’re also going to see that for every believer who thinks that they’re marked by failure, there is good news.
