As I experience yet another of many mental and spiritual breakdowns, I wanted to share it in real time with you. It’s not easy, it’s not comfortable, it’s real life and this is what I’m going through in the dark corner of life.

Fresh off the heels of Black History Month, I decided to resume further examinations into the touchy topics most are uncomfortable to discuss or listen to; race in the LBTQIA+ community. Cis whites are blind to it, because it doesn’t affect them but it’s very real and it’s time we have that conversation. This is Part 2 of 2.

With a special co-host, we examine the movies she tasked me to watch in chronological order: Malcolm X, One Night in Miami and the Netflix special - Who Killed Sam Cooke?.
