Forres Mechanics extended their unbeaten run at Christie Park to eight straight wins with a 4-1 victory over Huntly. Huntly Manager Martin Skinner felt his side failed to build on their good start to the game. Huntly suffered a 2-1 home defeat in the Aberdeenshire Cup Quarter-finals against Formartine United. After the defeat, Huntly Manager Martin Skinner was left to rue an early penalty miss before United took a two goal lead into the break.
