If there's hidden gem in the 10 Commandments, it's the fourth. God has woven a rhythm of rest and celebration into the fabric of our lives, but so often we choose to ignore it. In the last week of our Hidden Gems series, Pastor Skip Allen teaches on the importance and value of Sabbath rest.

In week 3 of our Hidden Gems series, Pastor Kenny Hall teaches through the story of Deborah in the book of Judges. Through it, we see many truths, from the importance of women in the kingdom of God, to God's power to use anyone to bring great change in the world for His glory.

The king's son takes a step of faith trusting that God may act on His behalf, and in that state of dependence, we can see how to posture our lives trusting that God is able to move, and that even if He doesn't, we will go where He leads us.

A consuming problem must bring a changed perspective and a constant presence. When we see the signs that we're stumbling, here's how we can look to Jesus.

Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! In Psalm 34, David leads his people to magnify the Lord, in the midst of their circumstances. From his story, we can learn how to carry this mindset of magnifying the Lord instead of our problems, and better understand the difference between grief and self-pity. Ultimately, we see how the gospel empowers us to live in the freedom of Christ even in the midst...

In Psalm 40, David writes of his experience in the pit: something we have all experienced. Out of his words, we can see a pattern of live, and how God is with Him in his hardship, wasting nothing. Ultimately, God uses his story for His glory.

As we kick off our series on the Psalms, Pastor Skip Allen studies Psalm 77, Asaph's cry to God for help in the midst of darkness. From his prayers, God gives us a path out of the pit of depression and despair that we can apply to the darkness we face in our own lives.

In Genesis 27, Isaac gives an Old Testament tradition of a blessing to his son. From this story, we see 3 key ways that we can bless those around us as parents, spouses, or friends through physical, verbal, and spiritual connections.

Make the commitment follow Jesus' example and make attending church a consistent habit through the seasons of your life.
