Our Advent gathering was a beautiful, creative and reflective time, with poems, prose and songs, culminating in communion. Many thanks to all those who contributed.

Gary Bastin concluded our series, ‘Romans 8 – A People of Hope’, focusing on the last few verses. He reminded us of the reason behind the series, then wrapped things up before leading the whole church through a prayer tunnel!

Guest speaker Hazel Marchment shared from her love of gardening, how God prunes us so we can be even more fruitful…

Ben spoke from Romans 8:26-30, revealing ‘The Golden Chain of Salvation’, focusing on God’s work of sanctification and glorification!

Wunmi Olopade spoke from Romans 8:18-25, unpacking the future hope God has in-store for those who trust in Him.

Olu Akinwale revealed the wonder and power of God’s adoption, which brings a new identity and belonging: ‘You don't really know who you are until you understand whose you are.’

Guest speaker, Andy Wright spoke, passionately about the incredible things God has done for us and how we should live in the light of that…

David Lambourn, turned an estate agent for the morning, showed us around two properties as he explained what the work of the Spirit does in our lives…

Sarah Winser (family worker) and Biggsy (youth pastor) hosted our annual ‘Thanksgiving Sunday’. It was so good to hear many stories of God’s goodness!

Terry Huggett dived into Romans 8:1-4, as part of autumn series, focusing on condemnation, and revealed how God has removed this, bringing hope!

A joint gathering of Community Churches Connected with guest speakers Andy & Emma Barclay-Watt from Life Church, Manchester. They spoke from the book of Joshua encourage us all to take small steps of faith.

David Robotham launched our autumn series, ‘Romans 8 – A people of Hope’. He set the scene by explaining what Rome and its inhabitants were like in the first century. He then gave a concise overview of chapters 1 to 7 in preparation for the weeks ahead…

Baptism Sunday! Andy Taylor explained what the Bible says about water baptism and why we do it!

David Nkemka concluded our ‘Fruit of the Spirit’ summer series speaking about patience. We saw how patience is a reflection of our trust in God which ultimately produces the life of Christ through us.

Yemi Akinwale continued our summer series and spoke on the fruit of ‘goodness’. She revealed what the Bible says about it and how we can produce what is good, according to God’s standard, not man’s opinion.

Linda Lucas spoke on ‘Joy’ in our Summer Series. We looked at what it is, what Jesus said about it and how we can live joyful lives despite our circumstances.

Sha Adebesin unpacked ‘self-control’, explaining how it keeps us safe, from sin and to live in God’s will, fulfil His will and honour Him.

We started on Summer Series on the ‘Fruit of the Spirit’ looking at peace. Many thanks to Tim Aldridge for showing us from the Bible that nothing can compare to God’s peace.

Gary Bastin concluded our series of ‘Perpetual Transformation’. We looked back, shared stories and saw that God can transform anyone, if we keep our hearts soft, encounter God and fix our eyes on Jesus.

We were delighted to welcome Rev Debbie Veel (North Hampshire Downs Benefice) who spoke about ‘Gifts, Mystics and Visions’, and encouraged us that we can all hear from God!

In a world full of trouble, Simon Aspray spoke about how we can still find many good reasons to ‘Celebrate’!

At an all age gathering Terry Huggett spoke about Sabbath. He explained want it was and encouraged us to consider it as part of our lifestyle.

Terry Huggett spoke about serving. We looked at what Jesus, the greatest example of servanthood, did and said about this. We were encouraged to reflect on Jesus’ words and actions and to be like him.

On Father’s Day and we were delighted to welcome John Wigmore, Rector at Winklebury & Worting Parish Church. He spoke from Luke 18 about our relationship with Father God and what can hinder that.

A wonderful all age gathering! We welcomed a whole bunch of new people into our church family, then celebrated Pentecost, the birthday of the church praying for everyone to receive a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit! We closed singing, ‘How great is God’ in a variety of languages! It was glorious ‘Holy Chaos’!
