Exodus 4 | Moses has been given the assignment to go back to Egypt and speak truth to power. He is to confront Pharaoh and bring the Hebrew people out of slavery and into a covenant relationship with Yahweh, the God of Israel. Yet, Moses isn't quite ready. God is now coming after him!

Exodus 4 | Yahweh, the God of Israel, has a big ask for Moses. But, Moses is full of questions and deflections. Why? Well, Like I said, it is a big ask. And, why should Moses trust Yahweh? After all, they just got introduced on a first name bases.

Exodus 3 | So far in the Story of God, God has not introduced Himself with a name. Oh, the narrator's voice has a name for God, and some of the characters have a name for God. Today, God introduces, not just a name, but a whole concept of who God is.

Exodus 2 - 3 | The story of the Hebrew people are oppressed and in need of rescuing. God hears their cry and is moved to compassion. But, who to call on? God is in need of a hero. God is in need of a savior. God calls on a man with half a name.

Luke 24 | Early on that first Easter Sunday, the women that followed Jesus were at Jesus' tomb at daybreak to care for the body. But, no body. Where did it go? A couple of angels show up to help, but it turns out they will need more than that!

Luke 23 | As the life is leaving Jesus' body, a lot of astonishing things are happening all at once. It was surely disorienting. But, what could it all mean? Today we will walk through Luke's story of Jesus' death.

Luke 23 | As Jesus is hanging on a cross, it seems all those around him are all on the same page. Not that everyone is sad or jaded, but that Jesus really is the Messiah, that He would want to rescue himself from that cross. Even one of the criminals dying next to Jesus was on the same page. Luke 24 | Today we are skipping forward to pick up the stories of the first Easter! Turns out the disciples of Jesus had a hard time wrapping their minds around the very thing Jesus kept telling them would happen! Turns out your doubt is welcome here.

Luke 22 | Jesus is in Jerusalem for the Passover. He is also there to give His life. Today we see the chaos happening in all the people around Him. Why is all of this happening? Turns out we have an adversary.

Luke 20 | Today we go back to the parable we skimmed last weekend. Jesus tells a very transparent story that everyone understands. Jesus said through the parable that the leaders of the Temple are going to kill him. And, it turns out they were already trying to do that.

Luke 20 | Now that Jesus is in Jerusalem, Jesus is going to teach the crowds every day in the Temple. The crowds love Jesus. The people in charge of the Temple do not. There is a power struggle for the entire chapter. Of course, Jesus comes out on top.

Luke 19 | Jesus finally arrives in Jerusalem after pointing His life to the city in chapter 9. When He arrives there, Jesus is greeted as the new king for Jerusalem by His followers. What brought this on? Well, let's say it wasn't sudden or spontaneous.
