Ephesians 4:1-3 = Paul challenges the people to walk in a way that reflects genuinely following Jesus Christ. We are challenged to be humble, gentle, loving, patient and walk in the unity that already exists in Christ. The goal of the church is to reflect and show the world what Christ looks like. Since Christ is not here physically, they must see Christ in Us.

Ephesians 3:20,21 = Paul reminds these people that God can do more than we ask or think. We have to focus on His glory and our trust in Him that He will get us through our circumstances and situations.

Ephesians 3:14-19 = Paul's prayer is that the Ephesians people understand God's love for them. He wants their lives rooted and sourced in that love. He wants their hearts to be a place that God is comfortable living within. He desires for His children to grow up strong and handle life well. Make your heart and life a place where God is comfortable this week.

Ephesians 3:8-13 = Paul is amazed that God has saved him and is using him. He realizes his sufferings are an opportunity for the gospel to move forward. His focus is on how God can use his circumstances. "Why is this happening to me" is seen through the eyes of how God can be glorified. Paul does not focus on how can Paul be spared hardship. John 14 - Too many people think church and Christianity is about religion. Christianity is about a person - Jesus Christ. At its core is a belief that Jesus is the ONLY way to God. It changes and affects every aspect of your life. Religion says there are many ways to God. Jesus and "little Christs" (or Christians) realize there is only 1 Way to God. The way - through Christ alone.

Ephesians 3:1-7 - Paul explains why "bad" things have happened to him. He does not see them as bad things. Instead, Paul focuses on the grace of God and God's plan and purpose in his suffering. God wants to use each of us this week and God never intends a hurt to be wasted. It is up to us to allow God to use our life to be a blessing to others

Ephesians 2:19-22 - Paul helps the believers at Ephesus to understand that God has brought them together as a new entity that we call the church. He explains that it a new kingdom and they are part of a new family that God is building as His temple to show the world His glory. Ephesians 2:11-18 = Paul reminds us that as Gentiles we were unable to have access to God. Through the blood of Christ and God's grace salvation is offered to all and makes us all one in Christ. Peace with God is possible because of Christ, and peace with others is possible because we have experienced the peace of God. Make your relationships count this week.

Ephesians 2:8-10 = Paul explains to us that we must be trusting Christ and nothing else for our salvation. It is a gift from God that we must receive by faith. Once saved, God starts writing His story in and on our lives. It is our responsibility to share that story with the world.

Ephesians 2:1-7 = Paul reminds us that we cannot serve God in our own power. We have been made Alive to God live for God in a world that is centered on itself. We now possess a power that comes from Christ to show the world His grace. And finally, we can rest and trust in Jesus for all our struggles and difficulties.

Genesis 22 - My prayer for you this week is that you will see God's provision in your life. I pray that as God allows tests in your journey with Him you remain faithful and obedient. Ephesians 1:18b - 23 - Paul prays for their eyes to be opened and that they would understand 4 key things. We are also reminded that we have a hope in Christ and they have access to His riches and power. We also serve a God who sits on the throne and is in control. He wants to use us to allow the world to see His power in our lives every day. May the world see Christ in us this week.

Ephesians 1:15-18a - Paul starts this section by praying for others even though his circumstances would warrant pray. He wants them to pursue a deep knowledge and understanding of how to glorify God with their lives. God desires and expects the same of us. We are to seek wisdom and understanding so that we trust and are grateful o all the things that God brings into our lives as we glorify Him.

Ephesians 1:13,14 - God's Word and His spirit are at work in your life to allow God to be seen in you. As a believer, God has sealed you with His Spirit. His seal means He is your owner and you are one of His authentic children. Live in such a way that people glorify the God they see in your life.

Ephesians 1:7-12 - If you have trusted Christ as your Savior, God has redeemed you, forgiven you, and gives you abundant grace for each day. You are part of God's marvelous plan and He is not finished with you. He wants to use you to help others see what a life "In Christ" looks like in a world of chaos and strife. 1 Kings 3 - Solomon's story reminds us that none of us are perfect. God expects us to do our best as we serve Him. We love the children that God brings into our world and use our abilities to point them to Christ. When we struggle with our children, we have God who listens and will guide us in wisdom, just as these women trusted the wisdom of Solomon.

Ephesians 1:3-6 - God has blessed us and demonstrated His blessing to us in tremendous ways. He chose us to Glorify Him in a life that is set apart and full of integrity. He adopted us and gave us the privilege of being His children. We have a new Father and He has a purpose for our lives.

Acts 19 / Ephesians 1:1,2 - The world has not changed in its relationship to Christians. Paul writes this book to explain to "people of the way" how to live Godly in a godless world. Paul helps them to understand their position with Christ and in the world. Ultimately the church should impact the world and not allow the world to impact the church. Genesis 2 / Acts 2 = As a church family we are to care for one another. We encourage, help. pray, fellowship, and build one another up. We grow in our relationship to one another and God. We invite others to be a part of this incredible family and we rejoice when God grows our family.

Luke 2:52 / Duet 6:4-7 = We have a responsibility from God to prepare our Children for this world and the world to come. We must help them as they develop physically, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally to be able to survive in a very difficult world. We model that by our words and actions which should reflect the God's desires for us as outlined in His Word.

Luke 24:13 - 35 = We see a resurrected Christ interested in people and relationships. Jesus comes alongside people who are discouraged and troubled. When Jesus is asked to joining you in your life, He willingly accepts the invitation to be a part of your world and life. Our responsibility is to go and tell His story as part of our story. 1 Corinthians 15 / Luke 24:1-12 - Jesus rose from the dead proving victory over sin and death. He went willingly to the cross to provide salvation to you. Make sure He is your Lord and your savior and that you are trusting no one but Him and that you have a personal relationship with the risen Christ.

1 Cor 15:1-4 / Luke 23:50-56 - The burial of Christ reminds us that anyone can come to God at any time as long as we have life here. Being a Christian requires boldness and God expects us to be bold because he was. We are reminded that everyone can do something to honor and serve God and that is our ultimate goal every day.

1 Cor 15:1-4 / Luke 23:44-49 - Jesus dies on the cross for our sins. It means that we do not have to pay for our sins if we place our trust in Him. It means that I now have direct access to God. It means that I can have a personal relationship with God and it does not have to be about religion or religious systems.

Nehemiah 13 - Nehemiah continues to focus on honoring God's Word, Worship, and family. Nehemiah lives his life for an audience of One and wants God pleased with every aspect of his life. We are to follow the example he set in this book and honor God with every area of our life.
