In our fear and discouragement, we must remember that God is present, he protects us, and he has a plan for us.

Christ is sovereign over nations, kings, angels and demons. Satan is subservient to the sovereign Christ!

Jesus reveals the very character of God. He is supreme over all things.

Sin is our greatest problem. We need rescue. God rescues us through redemption where he forgives our sins. We receive these benefits through union to Christ.

Jesus lived as a man empowered by the Holy Spirit. The same Spirit who dwelt upon Jesus now dwells within his people, empowering their lives.

Because he lived our weakness, Jesus sympathizes with us.

Jesus, whose name means Yahweh saves, saves his people by being our Immanuel, God with Us. He became man, earned righteousness, and died in our place.

To be a Christian is to be transferred from the Kingdom of Satan to the Kingdom of the Son. Christ is king and his reign is grace.

We walk worthy of Jesus by giving thanks to God. Gratitude is fostered by remembering what we were and reflecting on what God has done for us.

We walk worthy by relying upon God and being strengthened by him. His strength comes from his glorious might. He strengthens us so that we can endure and so that we can have patience with joy.

We walk worthy of Jesus by becoming like him. Essential to conformity to Christ is delighting in him. We walk worthy of him by bearing fruit and growing in our knowledge of God.

Union with Christ is the Christian life. In Christ, we're chosen, adopted, redeemed, forgiven, inheritors and sealed.

The Gospel is for Christians. The Gospel transforms and multiplies.

Faith in Christ and love for Christ's people is fueled by hope in Christ.

Grace saves us. Grace sanctifies. Grace secures. For the Christian all of God's actions towards us are expressions of his kindness. We find our identity in him.

Every member of the church is a minister of the church. Every Christian must be active in building up the body of Christ.

Every Christian is obligated to join a local church. Church membership is submission to fellow Christians and to specific pastors.
