I love how God places things in our path that are not obvious at all and how a simple decision to stop, inquire, investigate, or even enjoy, leads us to the answers we've been after.

Change is hard, and change after a storm,traumatic event or season is even more challenging. I'm going to do a series about different after effects or aftershocks following such a time period or season in one's life.

Have you ever asked God this question? I'm sharing a taping I did for another organization on Exodus 5:22-6:12. 

It's great when you can walk into a new year feeling good, feeling happy, feeling like 'yes I'm in the place I wanted to be'. And even if you don't feel it, you can always choose to feel that even if it is just based on a vision that you have written and made plain.

Have you ever been waiting for God to change a situation, habit, circumstance...ahem, feelings before you can move? Sometimes He does but what I have experienced more so is Him moving after I already have committed to and taken the steps in moving in spite of whether or not He changes it, or them.

Taking time to reflect on where God has brought me from is a favorite pastime of mine!

Follow your heart is a cliche or saying that we all know so very well; but when it comes to living the life and being the version of you that God created, it is the worst advice that you can follow.

Why do you keep giving me kids with needs beyond the typical?! I had asked for the little ones that He purposed for me, that needed specifically who He made me to be as a mom but it wasn't what I expected.
