Her Heart for His Glory

We are back in the book of Matthew where we see Jesus continuing to explain His upside down kingdom to the Pharisees, Sadducees, and His disciples. The girls dive deeper into chapter 16 where Jesus foretells of His death and resurrection to His disciples and fully explains the cost of following Him.

Cross and Lacy change things up and sit down with their first guest, Hannah Davis, to hear the story of the traumatic birth of her son and how his birth led to a devastating diagnosis for her. Amidst the heartbreak and trauma, Hannah's testimony of the Lord's goodness remains at the forefront.

The girls are officially half way through the book of Matthew! They chat about the purpose of parables and explore the first few parables in Matthew. In chapter 14, they discuss the death of John the Baptist and the miracle of feeding the five thousand.

We are almost halfway through the book of Matthew! Lacy and Cross dive deeper into chapters 11 and 12 where Jesus established He is the Lord of the sabbath, John the Baptist and his followers question Jesus' identity, and we are taught about blasphemy of the Spirit. More than the religious rituals, it is about the Spirit dwelling in us leading to good fruit!

The girls are continuing in the first half of the book of Matthew where they discuss the various healings Jesus performs in Chapter 9 and the equipping and sending out of the disciples in Chapter 10.

Cross and Lacy dive into chapter 7 of Matthew, where Jesus ends His teaching on how to live as citizens of the kingdom of God. In Chapter 8, we see where Jesus brings the power of God's kingdom to people's lives through healing.

The girls are back in the book of Matthew continuing to discuss the sermon on the mount, where we see Christ comes to fulfill the law. Jesus teaches about how the motive of our heart impacts the way we give, how we pray, and why we fast.

With the New Year around the corner, Cross and Lacy sit down and share their experiences with new year rhythms to align their hearts and minds on God's will for the New Year. They hope this encourages you to invite the Lord to direct your plans for 2026.
