Most believers desire revival in their own lives, in their churches, and in their countries. Praying for revival begins by recognizing the mercy of the Heavenly Father.

As we consider prayer, it is always helpful to look at examples of prayer. There is an abundance of such examples in the Psalms. These prayers may be prayers of protection, of confession, of praise, or of trust.

Jonah found himself in dire straits because of his very own disobedience. Yet, God heard him from the belly of the fish and answered his prayer. Through it all, God was in control and doing His will.
