Deziana Torres creates a space for raw and real conversations about all the adversities many of us silently struggle with. Topics ranging from childhood trauma, oppression faced in hoods, navigation through oppressive and racist institutions, toxic and healthy love, and lastly a journey towards healing and self-love. She invites guests who are experts over their own lives and life experiences who vulnerably share their truth with a hope to validate others. If you grew up in the hood and often felt like your life experiences weren't advocated for, this is the podcast for you.
