We must look up to Jesus to realize our appointed destiny. Our purpose in this life is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. Our true identity is in Jesus!

David knew how much sin breaks the world, and when he deals with his own sin, he runs to his God for mercy and redemption. We should recognize and confess our sins as David did, knowing that Jesus has made a way for us to be forgiven, and has given us a brand new life to live in that righteousness.

Every day, from morning to evening, this world is filled with difficulties. At the very same time, Jesus is Good every single day! Look Up.

This Psalm is about Authority, Rebellion, Wrath, Grace, Blessing, and most importantly, the Messiah, Jesus!

God’s work is Big! It is bigger (more significant) than any of us can handle alone, and we will need to partner with other Christ-followers to see his mission accomplished. Following Jesus is a team sport. It is our turn to run!

The corruption in our world, including our government and legal system, can be staggering. What is even more astounding is the mercy and grace of God extend to people who humble themselves before a just God.

Real people need the Real God to meet us in the Real world and bring about the Real Change we long for. God uses real people like us to accomplish his work.

Our world can be a dry and weary land. Good News! Like beautiful rainfall, Jesus has all the power to bring us the refreshment we desperately need.

As Elijah confronts King Ahab and gives a lesson on how to recognize when you are worshiping a false god. We must choose a side, the false god or the one TRUE God. Then Elijah proves his point.

When Jesus calls a person to “Follow Him”… it is a beautiful calling that involves Risk. Obedience (doing what God tells you to do) will involve both Risk & Faith. Reminder: Jesus is worth the Risk and he rewards our obedience.

Does God Care about me, and about my needs despite my failings and sins? The cross of Jesus gives us the answer and it is most certainly Yes, He Cares!

In a world filled with compromise and corruption, we need people of the Truth to speak the Truth. Into the darkness, Jesus lovingly sends his people with the light of the truth. If you know Jesus… he has work for you.

You’re Invited! View, Examine, Observe… See for yourself! He is Risen. He is Risen Indeed! The Resurrection of Jesus is at the Center of Christianity and truly the Center of History! Come and SEE.

Many misunderstand who Jesus IS. Some say he is a prophet, a really good man, a role model… but the Triumphal entry reveals that Jesus IS the King! He is the King of the Jews, the King of Kings, and the King of Heaven. Let him rule and reign in your life.

We live in the “Last Times”. This means we live in an amazing time of blessing as the Gospel spreads across the globe. Simultaneously, we live in a very challenging time, and we will need God’s help to honor Jesus and Finish Strong.

Jude wrote to a group of Christians who had been infiltrated by false teachers who traffic in lies. His letter is like an alarm blaring and sending a warning to the followers of Jesus to BE Alert!

When we try to cause a Breakthrough to happen, we just create a mess. When we wait on the Lord and allow him to Breakthrough… there is beauty, power, and progress.

There is Objective TRUTH in this world, and Consequences are real. History reveals that God is just and that sin has consequences. Good News: Jesus took our consequences on himself at the cross, and we can have New Life and a Bright Future.

There are things in this life that are worth protecting. The Gospel (Good News about Jesus) is worthy of protection as it contains the only real hope for our broken world. Be ready to Contend for the Faith.

Understanding brings greater enjoyment! This is true for many areas of life and is definitely true in the area of stewardship. Understanding terms like Tithe, Offering, First Fruits, and Intent sets us free to enjoy being God’s Stewards.

If you’ve been given a lot… Be a Generous Steward. If you’ve been given a little… Be a Generous Steward.  Stewardship is supposed to be a Stream - Not a Swamp.  

Our Sacrificial Savior revealed what it looked like to be a Sacrificial Steward. Being Generous with what God has entrusted to us is not being wasteful. Jesus delights in Sacrificial Stewardship and sees it as Beautiful.

Jesus addressed the Spiritual Needs in the lives of those who had great wealth and those who had very little. Wealth is not the issue when you understand that Jesus owns everything. The issue is faith in Jesus and then honoring him by being a Godly Steward of what Christ has entrusted to you.

Christ created everything. Christ owns everything. Christ delegates responsibility to mankind (especially Christ-followers) for His Glory and our good. We are called to steward what Christ has given to us.

Add these to your list of New Year’s resolutions: Do Not Be Anxious, and Do SEEK First the Kingdom of God. Jesus is going to need to help us with both rejecting anxiety and prioritizing his agenda in our lives.
