One of the facets of the fruit of the Holy Spirit is Self-Control. When people submit themselves to the work of the Spirit, they will become more Responsible. Be responsible with our emotions, words, and relationships.

Our world is very familiar with failure and brokenness. The King of Heaven is Ready to Restore and Redeploy his people for greater effectiveness. Get Ready for A New Beginning!

The Miracle of Christ is the Light of Heaven interfering with the darkness of our world. The arrival of Jesus began the undoing of darkness, brokenness, and hardship. Let the Joy, Flourishing, and beauty of the Savior be celebrated!

The Miracle of Love is desperately needed in our world today. We long for a love that is Committed, Caring, and Courageous. May the Miraculous Love of Christ reign in our hearts and lives as we surrender to him.

The Advent (Arrival) of Jesus is directly related to people experiencing Joy. He brought Joy to Mary, Elizabeth, and John the Baptist (while he was still in the womb). Let Jesus bless you with the Miracle of Joy despite your circumstances.

When sin was introduced into the world through man’s rebellion, God was ready to interfere with the plan of the evil one. God Declared that a male child born of a woman would crush the head of the serpent. With Hope in our hearts, we waited for God’s plan to be initiated.

Every person’s natural bent is to be self-focused. When a Christian is set free from slavery to sin, and our natural bents, the Holy Spirit releases us to love God and others. Let’s put Freedom on Display!

Being a believer means that every day you have a choice: Gratify the flesh or Walk in the Spirit? True Freedom only comes when we crucify the flesh and root ourselves in the Holy Spirit. The result will be a Fruitful life of Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control.

Winning for the Christian is Life, Joy, and Freedom. Losing is returning to slavery to the doing, debt (trying to earn God’s favor), and distraction from what God wants for you.

Two Women, Two Covenants, Two Children, and Two very different ways of living. Learn to Be Free and Live Free by studying the Lives of the Slave Woman, Hagar, and the Free Woman, Sarah.

When you decide to follow Jesus, the journey is meant to be forward with Jesus, with no turning back. Unfortunately, the evil one loves to lure followers of Jesus into chasing after a myriad of “not gods.” Repent and Resume is the right response for any believer who has gone off of the path.

God made a Promise to Abraham to bless all the nations of the earth through him. This Promise was before the Law given to Moses and remains intact. The Law was meant to reveal our need for the Promise, which is Jesus!

The Gospel invites good, even hard questions and is prepared to bring clear and thoughtful answers to our minds and hearts. Seek the truth because the truth loves to be found.

The Gospel is meant to be CLEAR - Jesus Saves Sinners! Unfortunately, people like to bring their own “bent” to the Gospel, making it complex and muddy. We must continually point people to eternity’s great math equation… Jesus, plus nothing equals everything.

The Gospel is the Emancipation Proclamation for sinful humanity. Jesus, the Son of God has secured our freedom, and we are meant to leave slavery to sin behind. Don’t let anyone trick you into putting the shackles of religion back on.

Who created everything? Who owns everything? Who purifies hearts and washes dirty hands? The is only ONE, and he is the King of Glory! Heads UP! Open the doors of your heart and make room for him!

Psalm 22 is a Messianic psalm reminding us that Jesus took the abuse by his community and was forsaken by God so that through faith in Jesus we could live a life of freedom and belonging. It is okay to lament and cry out to God for help but we are reminded that through Christ and what he did for us we can turn our lament to praise. 

People place their hope, faith and trust in many things, which continually let them down. The Followers of Jesus are to place their Trust in “In the Name of the Lord our God”. He has never failed us, and He Won’t!

Are you on the Path of Life? If you do not have a relationship with Jesus, he is inviting you to find refuge in him and to walk with him on the path of life. Jesus and his people welcome people everyday!

To be a Fool… The problem is worse than you think. The Fool (stubbornly) says in his heart, “there is no God”. Good News! God’s Grace is Greater than our foolish hearts.

Psalm 12 begins with an Arrow Prayer… “SAVE LORD”! It is a cry for Help due to the wicked words of the culture around us. God hears and responds to the cries of his people and his words are greater than all!
