Ham in Ham Places

They're back for another bite of La Vie – and who better to experience it with than our very special guest, Rhona? After Saul's hasty exit from London, we're left somewhat scraping the bottom of the barrel for Ham Places in the vicinity of Edinburgh...

In this Season 2 Finalé, join the two regular boys and an extra special guest boy as they explore the rugged coastline of Brittany. They eat some tranches of poivre noir and unpack Aran's recent brush with a rip current. As ever, the live studio audience claps, laughs, and boos along.

Callum and Saul visit a childhood haunt in the first Hometown Ham Place of the show. They eat a Canadian ham in the designated ham zone and discuss a range of exhibits including (but not limited to) a creepy clock, a normal clock, and a Hsquarvna Duckhams bike.

Saul and Callum have driven to St Abbs (which is DEFINITELY in Coldingham). They heat up a can of cold "Suma Vegan Pea and Ham Soup" on a scary camping stove.

They're off to Peckham! Saul and Callum give kudos to a suburb which hasn't yet been gentrified to pieces, share yet more anecdotes, break down some fourth walls, and enjoy some (pant-based) meaty treats from Aldi.

Come in, the water's lovely! The boys snub the royal residence of Henry VIII for a shin-deep dip in the much-maligned River Thames. They taste another product from the LaVie Corporation before once more making a hasty exit to catch a train.

Callum and Saul managed to take a full month to walk the roughly 3km between Effingham and Bookham Commons. They eat some bready ham with added bread and issue an important reminder to vote in the upcoming US election.

From Buckingham to... ahem, Effingham. Saul and Callum have escaped the bounds of the M25 and find themselves in one of the rural Ham Places of Surrey. They eat some bougie French ham and uncover the ancient and mysterious Carpet Road.

The boys take a laid-back stroll down a chain-filled street and sample some familiar looking ham.

Callum gets a chance to ramble about the London Underground while Saul dissects his discomfort at public podcasting. They both eat some ham.

Time for reunions and official apologies. The boys start Season 2 with a visit to 70 St Mary Axe (AKA The Can of Ham Building) and the illicit consumption of some VBites Hamm.

HiHP S2 arrives Thursday morning UK time. Get ready for a new season choc-full of ham, places, and relentlessly witty commentary on them.

Saul and Callum are reunited in the f̶l̶e̶s̶h̶ mycoprotein on the windswept Isle of Muck to eat some ham with a very special guest. We promise our audio quality will improve at some point.

A sleep-deprived Callum is in Hamilton with some ham, while a ham-deprived Saul is immersed in some colonialist choreography. This is a particularly coherent epsiode of the podcast with no lag whatsoever.
