Jesus is the main act in God's plan to save the world. He is the Savior and the one in whom God fully reveals himself to us. Forgiveness and Prayer are inextricably tied together. This sermon is the second part of a two part sermon on Forgiveness's connection to Prayer. Join us as we think about biblical forgiveness, why we don't forgive, and how we can pray regarding forgiveness.

There is a proper priority for our prayers, and Jesus teaches us what that is in his famous model prayer, we commonly know as "The Lord's Prayer."

In the Bible, peace is defined as wholeness, completeness. It is God who makes our live complete by first making us whole before him through Christ Jesus our Lord. Jesus then puts the pieces of our lives together through the sanctifying work of His Spirit. Jesus is the Prince of Peace.

There is great hope in the birth of Christ for each us as was the case for the promise of his birth to Ahaz in Judah. Even though Ahaz didn't believe the promise God gave through Isaiah, the hope of a coming Messiah remained nonetheless. Join us as seek to find the hope of the promised Messiah.

What is stewardship? It's an attitude of the heart that leads to our lives being offered unto God as living sacrifices of worship. Join us as we think on stewardship as an attitude of life that impacts the way we spend our time, money, and live our lives.

We have an enemy that is greater and stronger than we are. He is always present and scheming in his power to lead us away from our pursuit of Christ. We have to always be on guard and suited up in the armor of God to withstand his attacks. Join us as we walk through Paul's encouragement to his readers.

Prayer is one of the greatest blessings Christians have as they follow Christ daily. The problem is that we don't know who to pray instinctively. We must learn how to pray from Jesus. The disciples asked him to teach them and Luke has recorded the story for our benefit. Join us as we think through it.

And, though we don't ever fully know why someone would take his/her own life, we do know that a majority of suicides are committed by people suffering depression. What does it mean for us to say that our great God is sovereign over all things and all people? It simply means that God is the supreme ruler of everything and everyone. Psalm 45 is a beautiful song about the king's wedding. The king is the focal point of this Psalm because of his majestic rule and gracious welcoming of the queen into his kingdom. She was once far off and outside of God's kingdom, and now she is brought near to the king through his love -- A familiar story throughout the Bible.
