Picture, videos and journals are all ways that we can stop and capture a moment we want to remember in greater detail than perhaps our minds can. I recently had a photoshoot to do just that...listen in for more details.

Okay, so this Season 2 episode is super long but I absolutely worth the listen. The breaks are break up, breakdown, break open, breakthrough, and break out. I've been through all the breaks and it's been quite the trip! Listen in as I unpack them all.

As a child, I used to sing this song every Sunday in Sunday School. Then we'd get to the part that said, "Where?" The response was, "Down in my heart." This is my truth today and I am excited to share in this episode why this is so important, how I got to this point and what it will take to remain here.

An inexplicable joy took me to a place of guttural crying this past week. I was reminded of the many threads that have connected to bring me to where I am in life at the moment and the immense gratitude brought me to tears. I am amazed...the dots DO connect... 

We are shaped by the moments and experiences of our lives and the we shape the moments and experiences of our lives. It's time to forego having regret and instead reset to your "default" settings: Your Truest Self.

This week a couple of my friends called just because. It was a beautiful gentle reminder that no matter what is happening in my life, LOVE is ever present...and it is all I need.

It's the other "F" word...  I have had to use it A LOT in my life. I don't know that I always understood forgiveness: its power, prowess, purpose and even passivity. I know now that forgiveness is a choice, often a really hard one, that does not have an exact formula. Nonetheless, I believe in forgiveness for my own healing and purpose journey...here is why!

Moving through change or healing is difficult, no matter which way you slice it. There will be a stretch of "treacherous terrain" that is just messy. Nonetheless, the only way TO where you want to be is THROUGH where you don't want to go.

Shifting from, "I am enough!" to "I am significant!" Both undeniably powerful statements but one that may be even more necessary to change your life and how you live it out.

Bliss, joy, elation, euphoria...call it what you may! I am in my happy place and I am not leaving anytime soon.

It's the last month and last Sunday of 2020. It is also my last podcast for this year. There is no disillusionment here but simply a sunny focus on "lasts" giving way to "firsts".

We all have a story to tell and every story is one of value.  As I move through transition and transformation, I become more compelled by my story. There is this radically ridiculous sentiment that our "womanhood" is marked and to be celebrated by the onset of menstruation. I call BS! Because as I go through perimenopause, divorce, empty nesting, entrepreneurship and the evolution of my career, I am perhaps in the most brilliant season of my womanhood. Let's talk about that!

This is a happy episode! After some interesting situations over the past couple of weeks, this week ended with a look at my life through the eyes of some of my closest family and friends.
