Jesus has handled the people's disbelief pretty well to this point but it takes a deeper turn as his very on (half) brothers tell him, "We don't believe in you." They issue a challenge to Jesus to go to the Festival of shelters in Judea and show himself to the people their. The only problem is, that's where the religious leaders are that want him dead!

This crowd saw the miracles, they looked God eyeball to eyeball, they said they wanted to work the works of God, yet the never believed in Jesus. They conceived in their mind what the Messiah would be like and Jesus didn't fit the bill. And after hearing Jesus say they had to eat his flesh and drink his blood, they walked away. They didn't understand what he was talking about and chose to walk awa...

In this episode of GRINDIT we start breaking down John 6. Jesus travels to Tiberias, or the far side of the Sea of Galilee, and as he travels a crowd follows. Once they arrive he takes a child's lunchable and blows their mind! Will they believe Jesus is the Messiah and continue to follow him?

Jesus tells the religious leaders he is from the Father and is doing the Father's Will. And not only that he gives several witnesses to back up his claim! We have to to be more than religious...we have to be Jesus. They were more concerned with the man carrying his mat than the man himself! We have to show some grace, mercy, love and compassion just as Jesus did!

Jesus visits the area by the Pool of Bethesda and he heals a paralyzed man. But what about the others? There were crowds of people the at the pool of Bethesda yet Jesus only healed one person...ONE! Doesn't seem fair does it?

We finish up John 4 by looking at a government official who was desperate to find Jesus because his son was dying from a fever. In John 4 we have seen Jesus minister to an outcast and a government official. Jesus doesn't discriminate...salvation is for all.

This is my favorite chapter in the New Testament. Jesus, a Jew, walks on Samaritan soil blowing all the religious rules out of the water, has a conversation with a Samaritan woman, and a village is changed because of it!
