We are jumping back into the Gospel of John! Do you ever find that the things you enjoy don't fill your appetite as much as you hoped they would? What would does mean for Jesus to be the sustenance of our lives? This week we look into John 6:22-59 and read about Jesus's claim that He is the bread of life and can always keep our deepest appetites full with His offer of salvation.

This is our final week in the Song of Solomon! As we look at the final verses of the book (SoS 8:5-14), we find a charge that speaks wisdom to us in the days of singleness before marriage and the days after the "honeymoon phase" of marriage has ended.

We are continuing through the story of The Song of Solomon. This week we unpack SoS 6:4-8:4 and take a look at the redemption that transform our delight and desires.

For the first time in The Song of Solomon, there is major dysfunction. SoS: 5.2-6.3 shows us how the husband and the wife experience intimacy issues as they journey toward the garden of love. We are continuing our journey through The Song of Solomon this week, looking at SoS 3:1-5. As the bride searches out her husband, the one whom her soul loves, we also find that Jesus is the perfect husband for his bride, the church.

We are back in the Song of Solomon! This week, we look a married couple's song of desire. This song reflects our ultimate desire for a relationship with God - a relationship filled with satisfaction and pleasure.

As we begin a new year, we also begin a new study in the Gospel of John. This week we unpack John 1:1-18 as we see that in Jesus, God has made Himself known in a superior way to all previous self-revelation. He has shown us His glory, His grace and His goodness in Jesus.  

We return again this week to the Psalms. Psalm 72 is a prayer and plea for a human king to reign justly and eternally. The reason for a king like this: his justice and righteousness brings shalom for those who are the 'poor' - the vulnerable or 'poor in spirit'. This prayer and plea is fulfilled in Christ who will bring this to bear ultimately in the new heavens and new earth.
