In this fifth sermon in Tony’s short series on The Prodigal Son, we will look at the father of the two sons. We begin to see the great, deep love of God. It is a love that doesn’t look like you might expect. Sometimes God’s love for His kids is painful, yet healing.

Do you ever think about the effect your sin has on our Father in heaven? In Ephesians 4 Paul tells us to not “grieve the Holy Spirit.” And it seems this is what the two sons do to the father, in Jesus’ story about the prodigal.

In Colossians, Paul introduces us to Epaphras. Through this minister and friend of Paul, we are encouraged to share the truth of the grace of God, be a minister of Christ, and love in the Spirit. When we do that, we let our faith be known to a world in desperate need. Let's let our faith in Christ be known by our love for people today!

What is the pace of our faith? Life with God is intended to go at a certain speed. Jonathan takes us to Isaiah 28 to see what the pace of our faith should look like.

Probably the most important question everyone must answer is “how can I be made right with God?” The answer is Easter!
