Our lives will reflect our perspective of the future coming of the day of God. This perspective is critical for Christians to recover and embrace.

Many people, Christians included, don’t know how their story will end, how the story will end. In this sermon, Jonathan seeks to take you on a tour through our eternal destiny.

In this final sermon in Luke 11, we see Jesus reveal how the Pharisees misunderstood what it means to “walk with God.” Be careful, though, in just seeing this as a expose’ on the Pharisees - you probably will see you too!

Jesus was not hiding, He was not hiding who He was. And yet, they still did not believe. It all gets down to the eyes - what do you see?

Jesus called the generation He was with and evil generation. He called them that because they kept seeking “signs” from Him to validate what He was saying. This is not the faith God wants in His people. There is a certain species of faith that saves, sustains, gives life and produces perseverance - this is what Tony brings in this message.

It seems like we are confused by what the “blessed life” is in America. We tend to believe we are blessed if we are prosperous, healthy, etc. But Jesus says that blessed one is the one who “hears the word of God and keeps it.”

In this scene from Jesus’ life He casts out a demon from a man who had been made mute by the demon. But there is more here than “meets the eye.” Listen and see how Jesus steers the scene to teach us a very important, powerful lesson about our souls
