Praise God regardless of what's going on

We are the Lord's Sheep and He calls us by name. Our Shepherd leads us to peace and comfort. He protects us from evil and leads us to water and green pastures. He is our source of calmness in the midst of Chaos.

Bearing fruit is remaining grounded in Him.

Job challenged the Lord when he went through suffering. God revealed His goodness and wonder to Job and how he holds everything that exists in His hands. Through the Grace of God Job persevered and was humbled. Because of this, God blessed him even more in life, but his biggest blessing was knowing God better and understanding His working in a deeper way.

God created all things, He is the one who holds all things together. All the creatures big and small God created. God shows this to Job and reveals His majesty and wonder to him. We were also created by God and He refers to us as His masterpiece. Praise the Lord for His sovereignty and love for us.

We may never understand His sovereignty, but His work is perfect.

Making sense of the Bible is making sense of Jesus.

Love, compassion & a willingness to bear our burdens. Oh, what a friend we have in Jesus.

"Blessed be the name of the Lord" is not circumstantial. It remains true always

Wisdom is found when we seek Him.

God's action is unceasing

Beware of those who invite you to be their friend, it may actually be an invitation to the valley of O No.

Jesus loves the city of Jerusalem. Nehemiah dedicated the wall to God with praise and worship. However, Nehemiah had to clean house from those who were corrupting it. In order to have the joy, you have to make sure your temple is clean. There will be a day of no more sin and darkness, and we will be made pure as we rejoice in the New Jerusalem with the light of the Lord shining upon us.

The joy of the Lord is our strength. We are called to offer up our bodies as a living sacrifice holy and acceptable to God and not conform to the world. Like Israel, we gather together as one body to rejoice and worship our Lord. Take time to separate from the world and find quiet time with God. He restores, He revives, and we rededicate ourselves to Him.

God has given us the duty to oversee our "gate". No matter what that "gate" may be, we are to oversee and do the work of our "gate" as to the Lord for all play a part in His story.

Nehemiah knew that he needed to do something for God. He prayed, fasted, and used his position for the glory of God. There is something God has called you to do. Pray, fast, and allow him to use you!
