Pastor Troy Dobbs teaches from Hebrews 3:1-6, showing why Jesus is worthy of greater glory than Moses. Moses was a faithful servant in God's house, but Jesus is the faithful Son over the house and the Builder of God's people. As both Apostle and High Priest, Christ perfectly represents God to humanity and believers before God. Pastor Troy explains that when following Jesus becomes costly, Christia...

By fully sharing our humanity, Jesus could die in our place, defeat death, break the devil's power, and free believers from lifelong fear. As our merciful and faithful High Priest, He offered Himself as the sacrifice that atones for sin and restores us to God. Pastor Troy explains that salvation is not a self-...

Pastor Troy Dobbs continues in Hebrews by showing how Jesus restores what sin has broken. Humanity was created for glory, honor, and dominion, yet the world is not as God intended. Hebrews 2:5–13 turns our attention to Jesus, who entered our condition, tasted death for everyone, and was crowned with glory through suffering. As the Founder of salvation, Jesus opened the way to heaven by taking the...

Pastor Troy Dobbs continues in Hebrews by showing why Jesus is not merely the best among angels—He is in an entirely different category. Hebrews 1:4–14 declares that Jesus has the superior name, honor, position, example, nature, and authority. Angels are created servants who worship and carry out God’s purposes, but Jesus is the eternal Creator, righteous King, and enthroned Son who alone saves. D...

Pastor Troy Dobbs begins the book of Hebrews by inviting believers to see Jesus more clearly and majestically. In Hebrews 1:1-3, Jesus is revealed as God’s final Word, the heir and creator of all things, the radiance of God’s glory, the exact imprint of His nature, and the One who sustains the universe. He is also the perfect High Priest and sacrifice who purified sin once for all and now reigns a...
