David's sin took a toll on the nation, as well as his spiritual well being. While he was 'damaged', restoration was available if he was willing to pay the price. So to is restoration available for the sinner today...provided they are willing to 'pay the price.'

Called to be light...but sometimes, we don't want to be light. We get tired of standing out in a dark world and being obvious. Whether we like it or not, as disciples, we are light. The question is: Are we being the light we have been called to be, or are we hiding God's light under a bushel? A serious question for any serious believer to consider.

When is the worst time to feel sorrow over sin? Obviously, after. Today's message encourages us to have the same spirit of brokenness over sin before it takes place. When we wait until after the fact, the consequences are already on their way. It's an important truth to consider.

Everything has been designed and created for a purpose. That is no less true when considering the life of a believer. Listen and consider whether or not you are fulfilling the purpose for which you were created and saved.

In today's world, we don't like to call things what they are. That is definitely the case as it relates to sin. We want to rename and excuse our sin. God says "WOE" to the one who would do such a thing. Listen and see if you have ever been guilty of doing such a thing. It's happening all around us.

It's amazing what people believe is 'good enough' to miss hell and enter heaven when this life is over. Tonight's message reminds us that God's word is clear on what must be done in order for a person to be saved! Don't let Satan deceive you.

While God was angry with Israel, it was David who was used by Satan to bring about the judgment of God and it brought about regret on David's part. Unfortunately, Satan still manages to use people to accomplish his will. It's something to give consideration to. We hope the message is a help.

While we have no problem associating God's blessings with mercy, peace, forgiveness, etc; we don't usually thing of persecution as a source of God's blessings on our lives. Tonight's message reminds us of the joy that can come from enduring persecution for the cause of doing right.
