Jacob arrives in Haran expecting a fresh start, but quickly discovers that life doesn't unfold as planned. Through the stories of Jacob, Leah, and Rachel, Genesis 29 reveals God's faithfulness in the midst of deception, disappointment, and family dysfunction. In Genesis 21, God finally fulfills His long-awaited promise to Abraham and Sarah with the birth of Isaac.
