Our September 28 sermon takes a Jesus' parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus from Luke 16:19-31.

We are joined this Sunday by Bishop Qampicha Wario who deliver's his sermon on Luke 15:11-31 - the Parable of the Prodigal Son (perhaps better named the Parable of the Loving Father).

There is something of Advent that sparks a bit of revolutionary spirit. Why is this and how does Mary, the innocent, humble, mother of our Lord help well it up within us? We explore the revolutionary nature of Mary's Magnificant and consider why this coming revolution is Good News for all of us.

What does it mean to pursue gifts in love and how do prophecy and tongues fit into that equation? We'll take a look at 1 Corinthians 14 this morning as we seek to serve others in all things, especially our spiritual gifts.

When it came to spiritual gifts, the Corinthian Church found they were using them for all the wrong reasons! What good are gifts, or any other action for that matter, if they are not grounded in love? Join us this morning as we look into 1 Corinthians 13 and discover the primacy of love in all things.

How do the various gifts of Christians work together for the good of the church? For Paul, Christians work together as the Body of Christ. We take a look today at 1 Corinthians 12 and consider how the diversity and interdependence of Christians and their gifts work for the proclamation of the Gospel.

What does it mean to partake in the Lord's Supper in an unworthy manner? What does the community of Christians look like that does, actually, "discern the body" as they come to the table? We look at 1 Corinthians 11 and consider the role of the Lord's supper in our community and how, when we come together at the Table, we proclaim the death of Christ to the world.
