How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, "Your God reigns." Isaiah 52:7

But rejoice insofar as you share Christ's sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when His glory is revealed. If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. 1 Peter 4:13-14

For by a single offering He has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified. Hebrews 10:14

Therefor He is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant. Hebrew 9:15

Christians have been cleansed by the blood of Christ. We’ve been cleansed on the inside and the outside—both in our inner life and our outer life. The Old Covenant specialized in visible, external cleansing; the New Covenant specializes in invisible, inner transformation.

Now the point in what we are saying is this: We have such a high priest, one who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the majesty in heaven. Hebrews 8:1

But He holds His priesthood permanently, because He continues forever. Consequently, He is able to sve to the uttermost those who draw near to God through Him, since He walways lives to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:24-25

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of His glory with great joy. Jude 1:24

In the early 1920’s in Communist Russia, Nikolai Bukharin was sent from Moscow to Kiev to address an anti-God rally. For an hour he abused & ridiculed the Christian faith until it seemed as if it were hopeless for anyone to believe in Christianity. Then questions were invited. An Orthodox church priest rose & asked to speak. He walked up behind the podium, faced the people, & gave the Easter greet...

“Say to the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your King is coming to you, humble, and mounted on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.’” Matthew 21:5

Problem of Spiritual Immaturity: The people had become lazy or dull of hearing. They had to have milk instead of solid food. Because of hearts that had become hard, they could not move on to the deeper things of God, but had to have the ABC’s of Word.
