In our second instalment of the week Wendy and Shelley travel to one of their favourite venues...Wengen! The gents give er on the longest piste of the circuit and Shelley and Wendy absolute forget to thank their sponsors! Thanks Volkl, Helly Hansen, and Freshwater!     

Part 1 of two for this week since there was so much going on! Wendy and Shelley focus on the women for this week and every discipline in tech and speed is on the docket. The women definitely have some surprises up their sleeve and Wendy is hungry...literally. 

Wow, what a week for ski racing!  It's the mid-season mark for the WC and things are getting hot. Maiden wins everywhere and red bibs being chased. Wendy and Shelley analyze the races as we look at what the best of the best have to offer! 

Lot's to catch up on this week with Shelley and Wendy! The women review and give their opinions on the Bormio controversies and the terrible injuries from the race. On the women's circuit, Shelley has a bone to pick with the media's treatment of a certain athlete and the young guns of the circuit are starting to shine!   

Wendy and Shelley are doing a pod dump for the New Year due to holiday business and someone getting very sick! But don't worry they're back at it with the latest on the circuit!   

Wendy and Shelley discuss industry pet peeves and some good sets for the women and the men this week. The women fought it out in the US and the men were back in France. Get the latest race analysis! 

What did Shiffrin hit to cause a puncture wound and how many people found there to be conspiracies in the USA ski world?? Lots to discuss even though it was just the women making history this week...but was it the history we expected? Absolutely not. Listen and find out! 

Some great results for the women this weekend as The Shiff is inching closer to her century, and the men tough it out with a technical set on the first run that may have made a few of them unhappy. Wendy and Shelley analyze the races and delve into the White Circus once again! 

Shiffrin adds to her literal herd of reindeer and Herscher misses the mark while certain skiers flow through the course. The World Cup this week took us to Levi, Finland for the 1st SL of the season. Wendy and Shelley analyze the race but also chat about the latest gossip on the circuit.  There were no pillow fights throughout the recording of this episode. 

Wendy and Shelley discuss people coming out of retirement, switching nations, and set choices! Oh and they also talk about the races...who had a sweep??????

Wendy and Shelley discuss suit safety in FIS and the final speed events in Austria. Soft conditions made for some more historic runs, and the ladies have some suggestions for finals in the future. 

Wendy and Shelley discuss spring conditions in Austria for tech week. Who had a fairy tale finish?  Wendy finally admits to abandoning Shelley with a famous Austrian in the bloopers. 

Wendy and Shelley look at all the standings, the course and results in Sweden...maybe there's a few opinions being thrown out there. The men weren't racing but there is confirmation that a certain someone will be back next winter! 

Whose dad got kicked off the hill? Should the race have gone off in Norway with that viz? How much ice is too much ice in Aspen?

Wendy and Shelley discuss the rather flat course in Tahoe, USA. The women are cancelled due to snow and Shelley explains the rules of racing and what a Ref does on a jury because some coaches are unaware of the job as she found out. 

Gut surpasses the Shiff and the boys are back in Norway where historically Canada has a good time! 

Wendy and Shelley go over the women's races and overall shot at the globes...the men..is a certain Norwegian a whiner??? 

A short week of racing leaves Wendy and Shelley free to discuss more injuries and what they think FIS should do with venues. 

After a down pour of rain and results for the men, Wendy and Shelley discuss the injuries in Cortina. Why and how are they happening at such a rate? So many athletes are getting injured...is this unexpected? 

Wendy and Shelley agree about younger athletes on the tour. Should a 16 year old race World Cup? Then we get into the Strief where the results were a little all over the map but not compared to the DNFs in the slalom. 

Wendy and Shelley discuss and have opinions about Wengen, the horrific crashes, and the amount of races. Shelley hates being right in this case. The Women's races had some moments of excitement and they ladies disagree about the course.   

Wendy and a Shelley with a cold discuss a Canadian win by Val Grenier in Slovenia while mangling a few name and they both love the terrain in Adelboden, SUI.
