Some wisdom that we should extract from this chapter of biblical history is that when we purpose in our hearts to, as the Apostle Paul was inspired by God to say to the Saints at the church in Ephesus, “Ye can not walk as other gentiles walk; in the vanity of your minds...”, then God will show us his favor as he did to the Hebrew brothers. This is prophecy of the coming of our risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; and the price he paid for the birth of the church and the opportunity of salvation for all of humanity. Isaiah here prophesied seven centuries before the coming of Christ what his life would be like and the suffering that he would endure for the redemption of humanity.

As we live from day today, and that by the grace of God we will be confronted with adversities, but overcome them with blessings. There will be multitudes of things that happen in our lives, sometimes to exhort and encourage us, sometimes they will beset us; but we will perserve if we live by the Holy scriptures and allow God’s promises to be fulfilled.

There will be many today that don’t know and understand when it comes to the word of God. They don’t know and they don’t know that they don’t know and won’t take the time to learn what they need to know. To reject the instructions of God because of respect for persons will certainly cause a person to lean to their own understanding, by not acknowledging God and will be overcome with failure.

Never let your faith in God fail you. Even in the lowest times always know that there is purpose that going to give God glory, particularly when you know that you are living by the rule of God. Always remember that we have a divine promise that God will never leave us. So when adversities rise be patient and God will manifest His presence.

What we can learn here is never, however persistent resistance might be and from whomever, not let your favor in God waver. Jesus told Peter that he had prayed for him that Peter’s faith would not fail. What a prayer partner! Know your relationship with God. Not think you know it and cave in the the pressure of resistance.

Here we see a shining example of not allowing selfishness to make a decision that effects the people at large; and seeing those things that aren’t as though they are; and were granted by God because of faith in him. So let’s practice that wisdom, even now.
