We continue our series on Exodus and the ten commandments, where we learn how to live rightly as God's free and redeemed people. Pastor Darrell preaches on Exodus 20:15, the eighth commandment. Here we are called, not only not to steal, but to live lives marked by generosity because of Christ's generosity to us.

Pastor Darrell preaches on Exodus 20:14, the seventh commandment which says, "Do not commit adultery."  We are reminded to be faithful as our Heavenly Father is faithful.  

Pastor Darrell preaches on Exodus 20:13 where we are given the command, "Do not murder." We are encouraged to consider the heart of this command as a call to be committed to the flourishing of others and to turn to Jesus, the One who does that perfectly.

Pastor Darrell preaches on Exodus 20:12, the commandment that calls us to honor our fathers and mothers. This is the God-ordained dynamic of honor that is central to the community of believers and to the Covenant family. 

In today's message from Exodus 20:8-11, Pastor Darrell shares God's desire and blessing for His people as seen in the fourth commandment. We are to keep the Sabbath holy; a sanctified resting to the Lord and enjoyment of worship of the Lord.

In today's message from Exodus 20:7, Pastor Darrell shares God's desire for His people as seen in the third commandment that we are to be His whole-hearted glory proclaimers.

Today's message is a charge that was given to two men who were newly ordained and installed as elders at our church.  Pastor Darrell encourages them to seek to live out a "biblical eldership," but much of what he says is appropriate for every follower of Christ who desires to live out a "biblical Christianity."

In the Ten Commandments, God shows us how we, as His free and redeemed people are to live. As the God who frees us, He deserves our wholehearted devotion. Be encouraged to let no other take higher priority than the Lord. 

As we look at Exodus 20:1-2, we see that we are called to remember that the God who gives commands is the God who is also in a relationship with His people and frees them from slavery to sin. His commands are gracious as they show us how to live in a manner consistent with His design for us. Today we study the events chronicled in Exodus chapters 12 - 17 following the Lord's deliverance of His people from Egypt, where we see the Lord graciously provide all that they need.

We continue on in our study of The God of Exodus: The One Who Delivers Us and Leads Us Into Freedom. Today we study Exodus 12 and the account of the Passover and the 10th plague--the killing of the firstborn in Egypt. We learn that our only hope for the freedom, deliverance, and salvation that the Lord gives, is for the blood of the Lamb to be applied to our lives.

Our guest preacher, Bill Meyers, blesses us with this sermon based on Isaiah 6. 

God could've rescued His people from Egypt any way He wanted, so why did He use the plagues? What does His rescue in this way mean to us? We see in Exodus 4:1-21, that God encourages and is with Moses despite his limitations, fear, weakness, and reluctance. Just as the Lord was with Moses, we can trust He will be with us. He delights to use His people to accomplish His work. Be encouraged to trust God in what He calls you to do knowing that He will strengthen you and help you. 

Pastor Darrell preaches on Exodus 3:7-10 encouraging us to respond to the Lord's activity in our lives with trust and faith because He is the God who sees, hears, acts, calls, sends, and is with His people.

God is always at work in the world, in our lives, and in ways we can't expect...even when it doesn't seem like it. Be encouraged to live out an active faith in light of God's promises and truths as we begin a new sermon series on the book of Exodus and look at Exodus 1-2:10. 

As we take a look at the last ten chapters of Genesis, we see that we can trust in and rest in the providence of God. We can see that in the life of Joseph and as we also consider Romans 8:28 and remember that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
