Pastor Darrell continues to preach on the Lord's Prayer. This week we look at Luke 11: 1-4 and what it means when we pray, "Thy Kingdom Come."

Pastor Darrell continues to preach through the Lord's Prayer in Luke 11. When we pray, "Hallowed be Your name," we're not so much declaring a fact, but making a request to the Lord. We are asking God to reveal His glory to the world, to us, in us, and through us to others.

That God is our Father is the basis for prayer. That God is our Father is the basis for all of the Christian life! Do you truly, most often live in the reality of being a blessed child of God? We routinely give thanks to God for the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. This week Pastor Darrell helps remind us to also give thanks and glory to God for the ascension of Jesus. Luke 24:50-52 50 Acts 1:8-9 Ephesians 1:20-23

In John 11, Jesus says, "I am the Resurrection and the Life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live,   and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die." Do you believe in Him and live in Him? He is our greatest treasure and our only source of life.

As we look at Luke 10:38-42 we see that the right response when Jesus comes is to enjoy His presence and to worship Him.

Pastor Darrell concluded our examination of Luke 10:25-37, reminding us that to honor the Lord and to show ourselves to be faithful followers of Him, we must both love God well - and love others well. We must love our neighbor as ourselves.

How comprehensive is God's grace? How comprehensive is the grace we are to show to others? Pastor Darrell points out through the passage in Luke 10:25-37 that it is completely comprehensive.

Pastor Darrell preached on Luke 10:21-29, a passage that calls His people to humility, appreciation, gratitude, rejoicing, and faith.

In today's message, Pastor Darrell preaches on Luke 10:1-20, where Jesus, the Lord of the Harvest, commissions 72 of His followers to labor for the cause of the Kingdom.  Before the passage concludes, we learn that our greatest reason for rejoicing is that our names are written in heaven because of the redemptive work of Jesus.

In today's sermon, we look at Luke 9:57-62, which contains some of the "hard sayings" of Jesus.  Jesus helps us to understand that we are not to put conditions or limitations on our willingness to follow Him. 

Pastor Darrell preaches on Luke 9:49-56 and encourages us to observe the religious and moral superiority present in the passage. Where might we be holding onto similar attitudes or thinking? Be encouraged to recognize how great the gospel of grace is and remember that Jesus came to seek and save the lost, not condemn them.

We should grasp our weakness and sinfulness and Jesus Christ, the One who grasps ahold of us. Pastor Darrell preached on Luke 9:37-45 where we see Jesus help the man who is desperate for his son to be delivered from a demon. The man shows his trust in Jesus by begging Him for help. Jesus shows His compassion by healing the son. Be encouraged to trust Jesus in all things.

Pastor Darrell preaches on Luke 9:28-36 and encourages us to listen to Jesus, the Father's Son, the Chosen One, and the Way to the Father.

Pastor Darrell preaches on Psalm 136, where we are reminded that the steadfast love of the Lord endures forever. Because of that, we are to give thanks.

Pastor Darrell reminds us of the scriptural truths of God's love for us in Christ. Be encouraged to worship Him this Christmas and always. 1 John 3:1 Jeremiah 31:3 Isaiah 7:14 John 1:1-3, 14 John 3:16-18 1 John 4:9-10 John 17:20-23

We are told in Micah 5:2, 4-5 that Jesus is our peace. This is possible because He was and is our faithful covenant head. Because of His faithfulness, we need never fear facing God's judgment if we are trusting in Him.

What is your heart most set on this Christmas? What are you most hoping for? Pastor Darrell shows us through Psalm 130 that our most sure hope is in Christ.

Pastor Darrell encouraged us today with God's Word from Luke 9:23-27. In this passage, the Lord says that whoever loses his life for His sake will actually save it. Just as the Lord laid down His life to save ours, we are called to lay down our own fleshly desires and the things of this world to follow where the Lord leads us and to do what He commands.

In our passage today, Jesus asks the most important question that will be asked of every one of us, "Who do you say that I am?" Luke 9:18-20 reveals that Jesus is God's Messiah.

David Barnes, guest preacher and Reformed University Fellowship Mizzou pastor encouraged us with God's Word from Matthew 5:13-16. In this passage, the Lord declares that we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. But how are we to do this? We do this as we live out of who we are and as we live for whose we are.

Pastor Darrell preaches on Luke 9:10-17. In this passage, we are reminded that Jesus is the miracle-working God who provides for and satisfies the needs of His people. He didn't come (primarily) to give bread, but to be the bread of life.
