99. Another gift from God to man #5 22.01.2024

A Spirit-led testimony begins the program; a young Christian girl was not forgotten by the Lord. Hearing the voice and leading of the Lord is important for believers and leads to good things. 98. Another gift from God to man #4 15.01.2024

This is the 4th program on another gift from God to men. The series focuses on God wants "success" for His body. Success can also mean prosperity, but not like Mercedes and Mansions. This program looks at I Cor. 16:1-4 and II Cor. 9 in depth. Tithing is discussed and why it should be on the gross, not the net as some do. A powerful scriptural point is made from II Cor. 9:6 that one who s...

97. Another gift from God to man #3 08.01.2024

A belief or foundation point for many churches is that Jesus and the New Testament say the standard for a NT believer is to be materially poor or just getting by. This series of programs refutes that point, not saying "name and claim it" or "blab and grab it" but showing how Jesus and other NT scriptures talk of giving, lending, looking for nothing in return, tithing, etc. NT b...

96. Another gift from God to man #2 01.01.2024

The last program brought up a "gift" from God to man, the gift of success. Manny and Gary studied our forefathers in the faith and then a number of OT verses What did these speak of? Today's program focuses on Jesus; did He advocate poverty and a "just get by" mentality? Or, were his comments more in line with those on last week's program that God was giving and has giv...

And, the scriptures cited, mainly from Psalms and Proverbs, speak of prosperity and success. Why woul...

94. God's great love and awesomeness #2 18.12.2023

The scriptures say "taste and see that the Lord is good." Gary and Manny present more scriptures that show God's love and His awesomeness including many Psalms. 93. God's great love and awesomeness #1 11.12.2023

Gary opens the program with two stories showing God's love and His awesomeness. Gary and Manny review many scriptures which expounds on these points. Verses from Romans 8 end the program.

92. Prayer is part of Our Armor 04.12.2023

Manny and Gary review the believer's armor from Ephesians 6, with prayer as part of the armor. Paul asking for prayer so he could boldly evangelize is mentioned, something all believers could pray for. The ministry of Jesus from Matthew 8:8-9:9 is summarized, showing Jesus ministered both to crowds via teaching but also one-on-one as He was going His way...something all believers can emulate.

91. Society in the Last Days from II Tim. 3:2 27.11.2023

Many of the current ills and character flaws in society were prophesied by the Holy Spirit years ago. Living in this age is difficult but should also propel believers to share their faith. Gary recounts the death of his stepdaughter in a car crash and how he an...

89. It is written, therefore I speak! 13.11.2023

After a short review from last week's program, Gary and Manny look at II Cor. 4:13-16. Highlights include the title verse, believers speak and proclaim the truth because it is written. Other highlights are believers know He who raised Jesus will raise them, we do not lose heart and as grace reaches more and more thanksgiving goes to God. The three goals of the program are also mentioned.

88. Many important points from II Cor. 4:1-12 06.11.2023

These include not losing heart, handling the Word of God truthfully, rejecting those who use the Word deceitfully, preaching the true Gospel, one based on Christ alone. Verses 7-12 start with the truth that the treasure is Christ, which we have in our earthen vessel, our body! The next verses list some of the difficulties we face. Paul's letter of commendation was the changed hearts of the Corinthian believers; we, too, can be introduced by the changed lives in our walk with the Lord. And, no believer or group should become "spiritual police."; Rather than judge a ministry or a person for a statement or two, we should look...

85. I Cor. 2:1-5 and a Testimony 16.10.2023

Verses from I Cor. 10-31 are reviewed. The need to focus on our oneness in Christ and the Gospel are emphasized. Verses 1-5 show Paul was not an eloquent speaker but fully relied on the message of the Gospel and Christ crucified. He, too, like many of us, did experience weakness, fear and trembling but he persevered as we can to share the Good News. Paul not only preached the message but also saw...

84. I Cor. 1:10-31 09.10.2023

These verses contain many insights for those wishing to evangelize including we are one body so minimize/ignore differences, we are to preach the Gospel, the power of God, not our denominational or such views, Christ is the head and focus not a pastor or teacher, a style of baptism, etc. The ending verses powerfully show that God has chosen what could be considered foolishness and is not the wisdo...

83. II Tim. 4:3-5 02.10.2023

The program focuses on verses from II Tim. Many important items for evangelizing are mentioned including sound doctrine will be shunned, people will follow their own desires/teachers and many will turn aside to fables. Gary and co-host Manny review Romans 11:5-10. They expound on the main points in these verses, including that all must not think, like Elijah, that they or their group are the only ones faithful to God; that those who harden their heart against Jesus as the Only Way may see God further harden their heart; and just as the Jews missed out, did not benefit from Jesus's death, many may try other p...

75. Knowing the Word changes Lives 07.08.2023

Gary and Manny revisit the story of pastor telling a serviceman that God does not help people on earth, but only in heaven...leading to the suicide of the serviceman. A trip to Colorado was the site of a dramatic answer to prayer; Manny prayed for a family in need asking the Lord for an answer in 24 hours. God answered in even less time.
