Treasure from Fire #5 focuses on the story of Joseph from Genesis 37 to halfway through the 39. Two main points were gleaned from these verses. First, God sent Joseph to Egypt. Second, Joseph was successful because GOD WAS WITH HIM. Joseph was sold into slavery, betrayed by his master's wife and forgotten by one in Pharoh's court...yet he was successful and rose to #2 in all of Egypt!

Today's program is a repeat. Treasures from fire #1 was the first in the series of five programs on treasures from fire. It aired on April 1st and we are replaying it today. The program continues looking at trials and how God is both with us in the trial, the fire, and how we can be lifted and promoted at the fire's end. Two stories come from Daniel and Gary starts a testimony where a daughter's request could be problematic, including job loss and possible arrest.

Believers at all times have gone through fires. Though they can be very difficult, they are designed to refine us and they can produce treasures. Seven statements relative to fires are shared as well as stories from Daniel, including the fires faced and the treasures produced.

Mike finishes his testimony. We look at the markers, places where the Lord began to intervene. A prayer here, a Bible received, a couple Christian friends and more. The Lord introduced Himself, responded to the prayers of many and heard Mike say he would give the Lord the rest of his life. Despite 30 years of addiction and poor choices, the Lord rescued Mike and set him on His path!
