Welcome back to Global Views. In our first episode back, Dawn Flanigan and Peggy Ostrander, two seasoned ASL interpreters, discuss American Sign Language, and how it has changed over time.

Bri goes on a mission to discover what life is like in the most densely populated place on Earth- wherever that may be.  New York? Japan? China? India? It might not be where you think!

In honor of LGBTQ pride month, Bri explores a largely forgotten piece of history: Polari.  The clandestine language used by the LGBTQ community before the legalization of same-sex relationships in 1967 England and Wales has disappeared from our cultural awareness since it's height- but how did it get here, where did it go, and what can we learn from it?
