Girl Meets Show

Did Dead to Me (17:53) actually make us feel alive? Especially after Veep ending (23:54). Don't cry because it's over... smile because Veep happened. And any feelings we had left we gave to our Game of Thrones discussion (30:06).

Ted Bundy truly is Extremely Evil, Shockingly Evil and Vile... but Zac Efron's biceps are trying to convince us otherwise.  Joey King on the other hand will forever and always be Gypsy Rose to us. Game of Thrones therapy starts at (36:26), please help us re-gain our hope! 

This week we discuss “Ramy” on Hulu (11:40), “I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson” on Netflix (23:46), and the INSANELY EPIC Battle of Winterfell episode of "Game of Thrones" (31:36)!! Spoiler alert: we love love LOVED all three.

This week we’re discussing what we think are 3 of the best new Netflix originals to drop so far in 2019: Beyonce’s “Homecoming," the new series “Special,” and the original movie “Someone Great”! We also discuss season 8 episode 2 of “Game of Thrones,” and hoo boy we love our Westeros friends more than ever, which means we couldn’t be more terrified for them.

The final season of Game of Thrones has officially started and now we eat, sleep, and drink #ForTheThrone! Lucky for you non-throners out there, we always have time for Noah Centineo and Donald Glover. We also watched The Perfect Date on Netflix along with Guava Island on Amazon. 

This week is all about alternate realities as we do a deep dive into the worlds of Brie Larson’s “Unicorn Store” on Netflix and the first episode of Jordan Peele’s “The Twilight Zone". We also rank our fave TV pets and get even more boy crazy than usual!

Things get weird while discussing The OA, but it can’t stop us from taking a trip down memory lane to remember the good the bad and the ugly tv dance numbers and one-off musical episodes. 

This week we’re focusing on complicated, polarizing women as we defend our favorite “most-hated” female TV characters and then discuss HBO’s documentary “The Inventor” and Amy Schumer’s new Netflix comedy special “Growing”! You don’t have to go and make things so complicated; just listen to our ep.

We can't stop talking and crying about Shrill on Hulu. It's an absolute must-watch and must-discuss. This week we get to the center of our true feelings... about ourselves and the things we are looking for in men. Because unfortunately, even all the empowerment in the world can't wash away our desires for a lovable nerd. 

This week it’s a balancing act as we celebrate Women’s History Month with a in-depth discussion of our favorite complex, inspiring, flawed female TV characters while also talking the the “light dark” dramedy After Life and the brutal documentary Leaving Neverland.

Pass the popcorn, we have LOTS of movies for you to watch. BONUS- they are all right there inside of the Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, or HBO that you or your roommate or your ex boyfriend or your parents are paying for! 

This week we break out the magnifying glasses to closely examine Oscars 2019 fashion and the twisty third season of True Detective on HBO, which both feature the great Mahershala Ali. We also learn that perhaps Taylor has been the True Detective all along...???

Have you ever had the desire to re-live 7th grade? Even if your answer is no we are still going to beg you to watch Pen15. Pregame with your favorite Spice Girls song and buckle up! We are going back to the glory years... the early 2000s. 

This week we look to the past AND the future as we rank our all-time favorite DCOMs and then discuss the movies we saw at Sundance that are coming soon to our fave streaming services, like "Late Night," "Brittany Runs a Marathon," and "Lorena"! We also review "Velvet Buzzsaw" :/ lol

We tried to get Tina Fey & Amy Poehler as guests to discuss the final season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and the new Netflix Original Russian Doll. Unfortunately, our people did not receive a response from their people. 

We didn't mean to turn all of January into serial killer month, but it happened. We couldn't not watch the new Netflix Ted Bundy Tapes and Abducted in Plain Sight! We promise this will be the last of depressing content for a while.  

This week we're continuing our obsession with shows about entitled boys who think they can do whatever they want as we discuss "The Assassination of Gianni Versace" and the pair of Fyre Festival docs!

That’s right, we watched “You” on Netflix, and we have a LOT of thoughts about it...so close your blinds, lock your doors, and set your profiles to "private" because we're doing a deep dive of this crazy show.

It may be 2019, but we are living in the past and talking about all the shows we watched to close out 2018. We were truly blessed this holiday season with some good tv. Start your new year off right with some of our recommendations.

All about that 9-5 grind. All day. All night. Talking all about jobs and Succession and business shtuff. We are very professional and serious. So much so... I think we could succeed Logan Roy.

During Thanksgiving Break, we went our separate ways--both in the states we were in and the shows we watched--and reported back on what we learned.
