This past saw 22 incidences of flags planted at rival schools in college football. Each resulted in physical violence with the most notable being mace being used at Michigan - Ohio State in Columbus. Steve and I discuss how this came about and compare to over the Generations. Baker Mayfield, Terrell Owens, among others are discussed. Steve brings up the Golden At-Bat.

In light of Shohei Ohtani becoming the first player to hit 50 home runs and steal 50 bases, Steve and I discuss the sports milestones during our respective lifetimes. Steve for whatever reason has a blind spot when it comes to Randy Johnson and I have to remind him of all of Randy's accomplishments. And, that he is went to USC and grew up in NorCal.

Not sure how we have not explicitly talked about this yet, but the fan experience has changed over the Generations. How we watch, where we watch, where we get information, the paraphernalia available, and all aspects of how we enjoy sports.

We discuss why more athletes don't go out on top. Why don't they know when to quit? We discuss those that went out on top, those that were forced out due to injury, those that "hung on too long", and those that transitioned their game to meet their diminished abilities. Steve calls someone a bum and I honestly forgot who it was.

We discuss phenoms and hype over new athletes. We dive deep into Caitlyn Clark and the buzz surrounding her. Then, Steve talking about Sidney Moncrief goes intoa diatribe how Shaq is a clown. Good times by all.

Steve and I discuss the football, baseball, and basketball and some of the fundamental changes in the respective sport. Football transitioned to the short passing game. Baseball transitioned to swinging for the homerun and not worrying about strikeouts. Basketball transitioned to the 3-pointer. I chalk it all up to math and probability. Steve continues to wonder.

We are creeping up on 1-year of the Podcast. Man, does time fly. We appreciate all of our listeners and thank you for sharing with your friends.
