Generation Church

Feeling emotional isn't bad, it doesn't make you weak or mean that you're an irrational person, but our emotions can get the best of us and lead us to do and say things that aren't healthy for us. Often we feel lonely, like "Nobody gets me. Nobody understands what I am going through." Loneliness will either sink or strengthen you, depending on Who you turn to.

You can't control what thoughts pop up in your head, but you can control what thoughts stay in your head. Don't use all your strength stressing over things that you might never even have to face.

The way Jesus designed HIS church is that if it is healthy, it is impossible for it NOT to grow, because Jesus is attractive! People are desperate for Truth, longing for love, and searching for purpose. Don't be someone who hates on Jesus building His church, be someone who celebrates what God is doing! Jesus is building His church and He is using us in the process!

God wants to get us alone with Him so He can do His work in us. Being alone with God is powerful because in our isolation we give God a chance to confront us. When you wrestle with God, when you grab ahold of Him and let Him work on your life, you will come out transformed. Too many people miss out on the transformation because they tap out too soon. REFUSE TO LET GO! DON’T TAP OUT.

There is a war: it is the battle between the favor of God and the forces of evil. You can't have favor without a fight! The force that's against you is indicative of the favor that is upon you. Where should favor show up first? On your face.

We believe that God is raising up living legends for this generation. They are people who will commit their lives to building God's kingdom, by living a life of legacy. You might not get it right every time, but don't stop on 3!

The world says that the truth is relative, but Jesus says HIS WORDS are the truth. We need God's truth AND His grace! God's grace gives us a new and better life. These life lessons are encouraging truths that come from realizing we are not God. God is not calling us to be perfect! Let us never lose sight of the power of the cross and what it means for us. Jesus died on the cross SO THAT we would know He is the Messiah, our debt could be wiped away, our shame could be removed from us, and we would know how much God loves us!
