Generation Church

Marriage is a big part of a man's life, and with it comes a lot of new responsibilities. While providing and protecting tend to come natural to us, other things like being gentle and loving can be more difficult. Husbands -- we are called to LOVE our wives like Christ loves His Church.

There are many things that a man is not. The world is full of opinions on how men should act, think, love… but the Bible paints a clear image of what a man IS. The world is trying to get rid of Godly, biblical men, but God says it is GOOD for men to act as they were designed.

The world says men are unnecessary, but God created men uniquely with purpose and called them very good! God designed men in His image; to lead and to rule. It's a struggle to be a man today, but there's never been a time when we've needed them more. The world needs BOLD MEN!

Have you ever been asked a tough question about your faith and been stumped on how to answer it? When you talk about devoting your entire life to Christ, it's natural that someone lost would have some tough questions about your faith in Jesus. We can prepare by equipping ourselves with some uncomplicated answers to complicated questions.

Sharing your faith can be intimidating, but it's one way we help others go ALL IN. When we invite people to church and share our testimony, we help them move one step closer to Jesus. Sometimes you'll plant seeds, and other times you'll be the one to water the seeds someone else planted, but God is the one to make everything GROW. Don't get discouraged -- if you do your part, God will do His!

We are celebrating 8 incredible years of what the Lord has done through Generation Church. God is building His Church and wants you to be a part of it! Jesus loves HIS Church, and He calls you to go all in for YOUR church.

It's natural for us to hold back in life when we're feeling "burnt out" or like we're "running on empty." We get scared that if we don't, we won't have anything left to give, but God wants us to go ALL IN. While holding back feels safe, running on empty requires faith that God will fill us up.

The new year always comes with new resolutions, most of them we'll start and never finish. The same thing can happen with our faith if we're not careful. While it's true that faith in Jesus is what saves us, without living it out practically it's meaningless. We need to constantly train ourselves spiritually to grow and look more like Christ.

Christmas comes with a a lot of celebrations and traditions, and while many of them represent Christmas, the best and most biblical symbol is the light. Whether they're religious or not, people that have lights in or on their homes are representing THE LIGHT of the world -- Jesus Christ!

Bullies come in all shapes and sizes. Wherever you find them, whatever shape they take, they all have the same goal: to control you! We can’t avoid crossing paths with bullies, manipulators, and controlling people but by knowing who you are in Christ, you won’t be vulnerable to manipulation or control. You’re not alone, you don’t have to be afraid, God has your back.

It's just a fact of life: there will be people who get under your skin. If you don't learn to deal with difficult people, you try to avoid them by separating yourself from ALL people. You can't avoid people AND obey Jesus.

Often in life, we find ourselves in a waiting room. Waiting for answers, a spouse, a child, or a financial blessing, but the real question is how are we waiting? Do you have room for God? How we wait for an answer to a promise is crucial - Are you waiting FOR God, or are you waiting ON God?

What better time is there to talk about ghosts, demons, and paranormal activity than on Halloween?! These things are everywhere in pop culture, and while the Bible warns us about them, we don’t need to  fear  the power of darkness. As Christians we know that Jesus has ALL authority and power and that same power lives IN YOU!

There's a lot of misunderstanding around what Heaven will be like, but the Truth is that Heaven is all of the GOOD things about this life and so much more. If we want the endurance to keep living for Jesus, we need to keep our eyes on the prize and believe that what the Bible says about Heaven is true!

YOU WILL BE JUDGED. This can be good or bad news, depending on what kind of judgment you receive. God judges everyone. Believers and unbelievers; righteous and wicked; and you want to be ready for that day. Though everyone is judged by God, as Christians, our sins don't condemn us. We are saved by grace because Jesus has already paid the price!

We are living in the end times. Jesus painted a very clear picture of what the world will look like before His return, and there are many signs that we are closer than any of the previous generations. God gave us signs to indicate the end is near, but this shouldn't be our main focus. Being close to Jesus' return means that we need to work even harder to spread His Word!

There's a lot to be learned from the early church, but one that is particularly applicable to us today is just how faith-filled it was. If we're not careful, we can develop an "it is what it is" attitude towards the darkness in our world, but what we see modeled in scripture is the exact opposite.
