Bruce Bochy was back at Oracle Park with the Texas Ranger this weekend, which had Giants fans wondering if things really had to end the way they did. The answer is yes by the way, they did have to end the way they did.

The Giants honored the 1993 team on Saturday night, a team that won 103 games and not much else. Which makes Lubman wonder if the 2021 Giants, a team that won 107 games and not much else, will get similar treatment someday.

The Giants did not make any deadline moves, but that does not mean the playoffs are no longer the expectation.

Mark and Sam have noticed that Giants fans seem to get triggered by Farhan Zaidi, almost a little too much so, and it makes some sense, but also not really.
