Does God support the proud? In many ways the Christian faith is the enemy of nationalism because in Christ we see a common identity and common humanity and this is the last thing governments want.

What is the nature of American imperialism? What is God's attitude to our political system? Can a Christian support imperialism and war?

We are eternal beings, made in the image of God, and we are accountable and moral beings, one day to stand before God and account for our lives.

Behind imperialism is not God, but Diabolos, and his false promises. Greed, the heart of capitalism, is incompatible with a life following Jesus, but Western Christianity has confused the two so that without prosperity, there will be no Christianity.

Why does America support Israel? America supports Israel because of oil in the Middle East, as well as geopolitical strategic policies. Israel was created because of the Holocaust, and despite its many problems, remains responsible for the future of the Palestinian people.

Israel has three options going into the future. first eternal war under American colonial guidance, second, the two-state solution, and third, a new nation-state where all are welcome under the law.

Capitalism has profoundly changed the moral codes of Christians so that what the New Testament saw as a set of sins, is now embraced as virtues. Church is essential to minimize the damage Christians can inflict on the social and economic order. Christianity, as a ritual not a life means that the social and political order transforms the moral character of Christians more decisively that Jesus.
