Threshold of Infinity by Fred Clarke
Panati 05.01.2025 5:22
Panati, a chant of defense, is sung as the morning progresses- roots, the forest from within, and water. This is also a metaphor of how humans reach out for connection just like nature through its communication networks; the earth’s profoundness is at the same time the profundity of the sky, which relate to the depths of human experience.
Kano 05.01.2025 3:52
Kano, or the chant that connects with the medicinal world, is also a word used in Ucayali to describe waterways and the thick traces of “kené” designs, or the patterns found in Shipibo-Konibo embroidery, painting, and pottery. The mythical origins of the “kené” traditional art forms are linked with the shapes of water and its supernatural entities, such as sirens.
Benxoai 05.01.2025 6:52
Benxoai chants in which healing occurs through a direct struggle against dark forces. The medicinal doctor, a strong Shipibo woman, sings and smokes a pipe; there’s fire, there are stars, while a Shipibo patient is being healed. In order to maintain poetry and metaphors, nothing’s literal: there is no voice-over explaining anything in Meraya, but rather images and music speaking for themselves.
Inin Bewa 05.01.2025 4:06
After dealing with darkness, there’s Inin Bewa, or the chants of joy that lighten hearts and connect with that perfumed existence. In this part, Meraya will also show traditional Shipibo-Konibo dances from the native community of Santa Clara, Ucayali Region. Specifically, Ani Sheati, a festive representation of that world of happiness transmitted by “chaikonibo” ancestors.
Inka Bewa 05.01.2025 6:46
The Inka world and its chants “Inka bewa” are presented through morning images. The Inkas belong to that further spiritual world that is accessed through ayahuasca.

The Return Of The White Buffalo 02.06.2021 5:28
This is a music track inspired by the prophecy of the return of the White Buffalo. The Lakota (Sioux) Nation has passed down The Legend of the White Buffalo–a story now approximately 2,000 years old, transmitted to many council meetings, sacred ceremonies, and through the tribe’s storytellers. Have communication with the Creator through prayer with clear intent for Peace, Harmony, and Balance for...
