Years later, even 33 years afterwards…. I consider still family from age of 8 - 22 - A reflection for me …. For my Pops as death of a lil Cuzzie, created in love, surrounded in love, now gone.

S.3 Ep 16 Aboriginal Youth by Suicide. is 3x’s higher & higher still compared to male ratio for females. A RS shared a few words of concern about her pregnant 24 yr old with suicide. A perspective on Youth n depression especially when doing their formal education to returning home, after being away for 2 yrs.

A difficult episode as I’ve witnessed my youngest and all the youth of worked with. Idealism is shot down for a variety of issues & There’s no one to help hold them up with their health, mental health or to remain grounded from Colonialism wreaks havoc on their mindset.

S 3, Ep 14 - This is heart wrenching as nothing has changed when statistics prove neither the federal/ provincial government has done nothing except alienate our children. I share my personal aunt story of fostering held no value to The Ministry, ironically, none of that has changed in 25 years.
