Fitz works on decoding Anna Maria's mysterious journal. A new client comes into the office.

Fitz and Carlotta discovered a troubled young boy who may have information on what was going on in Anna Maria's life. The boy, Marco Houseman, has a less than settled home life and Anna Maria was his Guardian Ad Litem. Will prosecutor Alicia Linnerman let Fitz be his emergency guardian until the murder is solved?

The discovery of a coded journal at Anna Maria's house provokes questions about a possible secret life. Was this a client list? If so, what was Anna Maria doing that would get her killed? Whatever it is, sister Carlotta wants Fitz to find out before the police do.

Anna Maria Ippolito was a small town star, known for her work with troubled juveniles and her performances  in community theater. Her sister Carlotta wants Fitz to find out who was after her and their search of Anna Maria's house turns up something suspicious. 

A day of ballistic therapy turns sour as Fitz learns his most recent lady friend has been found murdered and suddenly, though briefly, he's a suspect.

The case against Chase Hawksworth goes to the grand jury. Josie tells Fitz how she moved on following the death of her husband and what it took her to start dating. Fitz returns briefly to Alicia.

Fitz wonders if he's ready for a relationship. Sarah, Mary Margaret and Fitz attend Tommilynn's memorial. Danger appears.

Hawksworth's ex-wife shows up at Fitz's office with Sarah in tow. Mary Margaret finds the history of Full Bore Drilling and it's not a Ward and June Cleaver kind of story.

Things are looking up for Fitz. Then Hawksworth's checks start bouncing.

A family dinner where Fitz dodges a matchmaking bullet.

Sarah is safe, but in hiding. Alicia needs to talk. Both leave Fitz scared.

Macomber denies involvement in the house fire. An old informant provides critical information. A phone call solves nothing.

Burning water on two country farms add more suspects to Fitz's list. Barnes fills him in on the environmental activist's fiery past. There's chatter about a rumored relationship between Alicia and Fitz.  

Burning homes and poisoned well take Fitz further down the rabbit hole in his search for Sarah Peltry. An environmental activist joins the list of suspects.

A suspect in Sarah's disappearance denies everything. Detective Barnes has no leads. A house goes up in flames.

A lead on Sarah's whereabouts. Sister Katie has dinner and sympathy for Fitz.
